They look like Alphas and sound like they have a similar throw. Personally I'd prefer to make up a small Millenium bypass (there's some tiny and cheap OSH Park projects available) and get some Alpha DPDTs. Probably amounts to about $10 all up. This product is a good innovation though.

Does anyone have one of these PCBs? Maybe I'll just email him again...

Duh I was wrong, CE3s use 3207s (I think, schematics are hazy and all this rain is making me woozy)

I'm not gonna fact check this but I think a 3007 chorus = CE2 and a 3008 chorus = CE3.

Not that putting a 3.3k would make my issue better duh.

Thanks Jon - Yeah I didn't bother checking the LDR in my haste so hopefully I've just done something dumb and put in a 3.3k instead of 330R. Cheers

I've completed the Tapanatorator and associated T.Tremolo and it's working fine, except the range of the T1 pot that controls the brightness of the LED is a little finicky - on the build document, it states that for working with the Tremolo circuit, that it should generally be set to maximum. On my build, it seems that if I put it up more than 1/4 of the way, I get a warm distortion to the tremolo. Nice, but I'd prefer clean!

I assume I'm overdriving the LED a little and pushing the 9203 LDR too hard? Perhaps I should just increase R2 on the Tapanatorator board?

Tbh there's a bit of the ol' snakeoil in some of Fulltone's marketing.

All devices can fail, some maybe more than others. Maybe Fulltone makes them domestically, but that's not necessarily going to prevent potential failure.

Personally, I purchase Alpha DPDTs or cheap momentarys w/relay circuit if I'm making something nice, or just cheap generic blue 3PDTs otherwise.

I'm currently reading The Guns of August and all I can think of is... explosions. Looks beautiful!

Do you have a vibrato bridge on your guitar?

Yeah I've sourced multiple PT2399s as well from different sources, it's weird.. got some bad luck. Will keep trying.
