Awesome, excited for this! Will there be an option to build some of these into 125B enclosures with top jacks?

Looking good. I especially like the enclosure color on the laurelate
I chose that one because I thought it looked the most like the original ODR-1 haha

Fantastic builds!
Which gold color is that EJ FF? The Tayda metallic dark gold, or the Tayda metallic gold?
It's the Metallic Gold.

Build Reports / All of my 2022 Madbean pedals
December 15, 2022, 10:54:04 AM
I already posted my Tone Virus build earlier this year but here are all the other Madbean pedals that I built this year. :) All of these have UV prints by Tayda (except for the Laureate :P )

Slow Lorris
First of all is the Slow Lorris which is a RAT with a Ruetz mod and three clipping options. Asymmetrical clipping, gain at 1 o'clock, tone and sweep at 12 o'clock is THE distortion sound I've been chasing my whole guitar playing career. Immediately went on my pedal board. Not my cleanest wiring ever. I wanted to include the INCANDENZA BYPASS pcb from Effects Layout to this pedal but the pcb was too large. Got pretty annoyed after that and just rushed to finish it. Maybe I'll open it again and make it cleaner.

Wavelord
I was never really interested in a tremolo pedal so I thought if I build one I want one that does it all. This definitely delivers. 16 different wave forms and tap tempo. Now that this is on my pedal board I am using it quite a lot more than I thought I would. The tap tempo feature is also pretty nice. The pcb for this one has been finished over a year ago. Everything worked perfectly except for the tap tempo and I just couldn't figure out why the tap doesn't work. Eventually I found out that the TAPLFO3 chip that I bought had an error. Bought a new one and now it works just fine. :D I like this one so much that I am now thinking about switching my Strymon BlueSky to a Flint. Maybe I like tremolo after all.

Laureate
Next is the Laureate, which is a Nobels ODR-1 with a bass pot. Definitely understand why it's a common mod to include a control to roll of some bass. It's pretty boomy when the gain is turned up. Was really hyped for this because a lot of people like this one. Personally I was quite disappointed when I plugged it in. Even with the gain turned all the way up it's a bit too low gain for my taste.
While building this one my name came up on the King Of Tone waiting list and I ordered it. I was also pretty disappointed from that one. So I guess I am just not a low gain drive kind of a guy. But I really liked building this one. great layout. Hope there will be future pcbs from this pro series. :)

Rough Cut
Clone of the Diamond Compressor. Definitely does the sustain for days kind of thing. On this one I am not sure if it works 100% like it should. All of the controls work like I would expect them to but when I turn the comp control up high I get this weird "pumping" sound. Kinda sounds like a slow tremolo. I got my vactrol from eBay so I am not sure if it's faulty or not. I ordered a Xvive VTL5C3 one from Musikding yesterday so I'll change that and see if it fixes my issue.

Violenzz
It's a clone of the Eric Johnson Fuzz Face with an additional knob to roll of some bass. I used a BC183LS (hfe 285) in Q1 and a BC183LC (hfe 630) in Q2. This is probably my favorite silicon Fuzz Face variant that I have ever built. A couple of years ago I was a huge fan of building 1590A pedals but now I am mostly annoyed by the small size of the enclosure. I was swearing a lot putting this one into the enclosure.  ::) ;D Here I used some black Daier knobs. Always wanted to use them but they are unavailable in Europe (as far as I know). Really happy that Tayda now stocks them. :)

I am not sure if I would participate because English isn't my first language and I am really shy in real life, but I think it's a really cool idea! :) ;D

Build Reports / Tone Virus
April 20, 2022, 11:31:00 AM
I think this is my first built report on here in quite a few years. And even those apparently got deleted in that forum crash a couple years back. Aaaanyway: Really funny noise maker that I will never use in a musical setting! Glad that I built this.  :D

The design is a Tayda UV print on a matte black sand enclosure. I think it came out really great. Gonna use their UV service more in the future.
Powered up on first try!  :) The only mistake I made when building it was that I didn't line up the right rotary correctly. Not it won't sit "flush" with the enclosure. Tried desoldering and fixing it but the rotary didn't wanna be desoldered. Since this is a personal project for I don't care that much about it. Definitely learned something for the next build that uses a rotary, though. lol

I think I also read on here a few times that this pedal is their wife's least favorite pedal. I can relate to that. My girlfriend hates it when I play this pedal  ;D

I use the V1 everytime I create a design, so this will be an insta buy!  Thx for creating these :)

Wow, what a clean looking build  :D

I also finished mine yesterday. I haven't used a breadboard in like 15 years. It was so much fun  ;D Built a LPB-1 into a Mythos Golden Fleece (Electra style circuit).

This looks so good and sounds so good! One day I'll finish mine. Bought the PCB when it first came out but it never worked because I bought a fake MN3008 on Banzai... One day. One day.

I can see just 20 items for page, and there's no any option to set the number of item for page.
Come on! Don't tell me that it's just me! :o
It's not just you. They changed the layout a while back. It's the same for me. It's a little bit annoying to be honest. I liked their old design way better.

Cool! I was always a fan of the Quadrovibe so I am really looking forward to that one.
