Trying to find the build doc for the danger zone PCB with the big solder lug switch holes, before the 2015 one in the archives.  I tried to resurrect it, but it's not working and I'm not sure where to start.  Figured the build doc would be a good place.  I remembered liking the sound of it when I first built it back in the day, but I didn't have many parts then and had to steal some pots and the jfet and tl072.  If anybody could send it to me I'd sure appreciate it.  Hope everyone is doing well, thanks!

Sorry, been out of the game for awhile just lurking about when I get the chance.  But the dreamtime pedal I saw demo'd on facebook recently got me thinking.  Those chips can do so much, as Brian had demo'ed.  But how about just a badass "spring reverb" setting?  One knobby of awesomeness.  Isn't that all the EHX Holy Grail is?  Sure there's more, (hall, flerb), but I'm ready for the bashing if I'm way off course, lol.  I love my big box Holy Grail, but it's lost some sparkle and charm over the last 10 years.  That's either my playing, ears, or circui.... naww, probably my playing, lol.

The wah that madbean sells is really nice.

Good grief, didn't even realize madbean had a wah pcb, I thought they were all "autowah-ish" kinda stuff, lol.  So I'll get the weener wah pcb.  Now I just need to contact Joe for the hardware.  Thanks!

Wondering how I should start and what I should get.  I'd like to build one of the vero projects on the tagboard page, or even do the wah from BYOC because I like the idea of all the switching.  So many options for the circuit itself, but does anyone make a good wah kit with just the hardware?

Sorry for the resurrection, but does anyone make a pcb for this? Oshpark? I wanted to try the sabro vero but I think it's from the bad schem too

^ I did too, but I went with the $2.75 ones.  It sounds great, but I've never tried the 7532's so I don't really have anything to compare it to.

Doh! After reading some more I see one is hermetically sealed and the other isn't.  I think the TO-5 looks cooler 😄

Thanks Jon, I'm gonna go with the top one. I couldn't remember which one smallbear was saying would be good for the vibe, pretty sure it was that one.  There is also another one with the same specs but "TO-5", would that one be better or worse?

Man I just looked at your pic, all that brown/orange stuff around the new solder joints (bad around depth pot pads and c/v switch) is dried up burnt flux.  Sometimes cleaning that up can help out big time.  There could be a solder ball or some tiny strand of wire hidden in there just right, that could've flowed around other components.  Just a dab of alcohol on a soft brush will usually do it.  Don't use your toothbrush, lol.  Also J2 looks suspect, may need to be reflowed.  Just a couple things I noticed right off hand, and trying to save the bean a little time.    This thing has just got me super baffled

That sounds awesome Bean, I'd like to know too.  Maybe I had a funky value in there to start with? Maybe that's where the hiss was coming from and that's what could be giving Dan problems?  I honestly have no idea.  Dan, let me know the shipping to bean and I'll pp ya.  Sorry guys, I guess I should've just went with my original plan and tossed it 😞
