I guess not a lot of Living Colour fans saw that video, Love Rears It's Ugly Head was one of my favorite songs of that album

Open Discussion / Re: Houston or New Orleans?
April 16, 2013, 07:27:06 PM
What do you do in the oil industry? I work for a company that sells aftermarket repair parts for the blow out preventers. I'll actually be in Houston in May for their big oil show.
I've been to Houston a couple times, never been to New Orleans, so I can't really compare. I will say that everytime I've been to Houston, it's been enjoyable. I'd really like to be able to spend more time there so i can go check out Dallas and Austin.

I always thought it would be cool to cast my own enclosures, done the research but doubt I'll ever try it.

Here's kind of a cool DIY inexpensive way to silk screen http://www.instructables.com/id/20-Portable-Silkscreen-Kit/

lots of goodies came in today! First time ordering from Tayda, impressed, prices not bad, shipped out pretty quick.

thanks for the heads up, just saved me $10 and got me to finally order some parts I needed for some builds, and grabbed extra stuff as well - I'll have enough to build my Zygote, Retrograde and delay!

The green ringer was one of the first circuits I breadboarded, I didn't care for it by itself, but throw a fuzz in with it, and I liked the results. I didn't know how to match the trannies, so I was just trying out different ones until I found a combination that gave me the sound I liked.

beautiful, I love those Morgans and the price isn't really too bad on them.

woah Tone King Imperial, nice, I can see why your klone would take a back seat for now. That's a good build, I want to build one too but I might wait for the kingslayer

nice, I've been wanting to build one of these for a while. I just made a Small Bear order, so I ended up buying the transformer so that way I've got it on hand.

LOL love it.
Now who will turn up with a White Castle based artwork?  :D

really nice, I like the look of that color finish with the decals. Very clean build.

Devi Ever was working on a console like that as well a while back that used cartridges, much like an Atari or NES. Several companies were even on board for making their own cartridges that could be used in the console. I think she even got pre-orders and start up funds, but nothings come of it.

Build Reports / Re: Current Lover

cool, looking at your pedal kind of reminds me of a 1970's stereo receiver, makes me want to do a build that looks like a vintage receiver
