This build has given me a wake up call...We probably all have so many builds to finish and. I have had this board almost completed now for over a. year..that is. embarrassing.

Thanks for giving me a kick...you have done a great job...your build and finish looks awsome.

Nice job!! I like the  graphic...white background always looks good.  A few of those solder ends look a bit long, but hey, if you are happy and it works, I'll be quiet :-X
I have seen a few of these egodrivers being built lately, I think Cody did one the other week and I did an etch so seeing yours as well I may start to get mine drilled and populated.   Thanks for your info on how it sounds for you..always helpful.

Hey Greg, I saw you were involved with Larry's project but hadn't realised you had built it... Congrats, The plate looks really good on yours 8) I heard Larry's demo of the flanger and it is something else.
Been following the project for a while...but getting a Morley shell was the stumbling block. But i have one now which was going for repair or parts so it looks like I am in business :)

Should be with me in a couple of days, the PCB looks great to etch so looking forward to this epic flanger.
I agree with you, more people should have a go at this well documented project. I am currently following his new project that tests BBD devices..another classic in the making.

Build Reports / Manx Mistress (AKA Current Lover MBP)
February 14, 2014, 11:44:27 AM
Hi, this is a current lover I built a couple of months back, I think Josh was in the middle of  finalising his  clickless switch board and I can assure you it was worth waiting for. Anyone who hasn't tried them...well you know where he is, they are fantastic. I used  a mouser momentary switch, I ordered about 10 a year ago and thankfully I now have a use for them.

The enclosure was a fail on this one I got the chemical ratio wrong :-[ Anyway I distressed it a bit more...lol and had a bit of fun with it.

The circuit worked first time and sounds like it should. I am still trying to get used to that new switch it makes no noise...no crunch. Just a flash of light when you plug it in to say.."Hey I am working just press me once more gently and I'll give you the sounds" :)
Cheers

Very cool man! I think it's cool for everyone in the US to build
One. I know the phaser grind has is optical also and very finicky when it comes to power, I wonder if that's not the problem for the folks in the UK?

9v DC is 9v DC, no?
Colour me confused.

The Isle of Man might be more magical..being a small island less people use DC 9v ;D :-X :-X
