DONE!

Mysterioso mystery SOLVED!
just as i thought after testing continuity, i found two broken traces and added jumpers and it works perfectly now.
here's what i had to jump (green jumper and a jumper from blue dot to blue dot):

is there any chance that i could get another set of PCB's for it?
it says "sold out" on the order page but i was just hoping that you might have an extra set.

Unfortunately, no. I don't have an ETA yet on when I will have more, although I do plan to continue to offer the project.

I'm puzzled about the lack of continuity. The trace that connects those two points on the main PCB runs along the right edge on the top layer. Here are the traces without the tPlace layer so it's more clear. So, it is possible that there could be some nick or imperfection on that trace causing the lack of continuity. I don't see any obvious damage on the PCB but it's hard to tell from one photo.

Since you were able to get bypass with a jump wire, then the next thing to do is audio probe the effect path like I mentioned earlier. This may clue us into why the signal is not getting back to the bypass switch and then the output. Other than that, maybe a quick teardown to look at the underside of the PCB for any possible solder issues, bridges, etc.

thanks for that trace diagram! i'm going to  try to tace everything out.
also, please let me know when you have another batch of them made and are available.
i have a feeling that i somehow damage the trace going along the bottom edge of the main pcb but even if i did , i should be able to use jumpers to repair it.

yes, i checked those and there's no continuity. i even jumped it with a wire and the bypass works but not the effect.

What about testing continuity from the daughter (foot switch) board to the main board?  Maybe there's a bum lead or short.
i tried that but everything tests fine, but the output jack's hot has no continuity to the stomp switch,
#7
especially since it doesn't have any output when bypassed.
#8
i don't think it's dropping off. i think that output jack isn't connected to anything.
#9
by the way, i appreciate all the efforts and responses in helping me try to find the issue. i'd really like to get it working.
#10
my biggest problem is that i can't trace the output jack's hot to anything on the switches or anywhere else on the circuit.

i meant R18, it measures 220K.

nope. they're wired correctly.

as far as R8 & R10,  they're both the correct values and not damaged.

here's one:

Can you provide a pic and some voltages?
all of the voltages pretty much match the  build doc with the exception that i have 7.47 volts on pin 10 of the UBE4049

the switches are definitely oriented properly.  (i.e the notches face each other). the leds all work properly, just no output.
