I would tape the inside of the hole, apply filler and remove the tape and sand to a smooth finish once it's dry. It's surprisingly durable, particularly effective at the smaller holes obviously.  One warning is, don't try bake dry the paint on an enclosure that's been filled... trust me on this  ;) :-[

I tend to use the same technique, but I use a product called JB Weld. Though i dont think you will have a problem with heat with JB Weld  (they do have a high heat version too ;)   )

I have built the Cave Dweller... I used it for that very purpose before finally boxing it up. Plus its a good delay/echo :)

or.... use small dia heatshrink tubing and just insulate the un-used lead :) saves ruining a perfectly good tri color  ;) (me being the cheap sob that I am)

Open Discussion / Re: vocal harmonizer pedal advice

There are a number of units out there. I use the TC Helicon Harmony G-XT since what I do is just me playing guitar and singing. its nice to have the harmonies on the chorus'. The G-XT allows me to plug the guitar into it and it can set the 'tuning' of the harmonies to the chords being played. Obviously you can also manually set the pedal to the key you are singing in.

Best of luck on your search :)

Cheers,

Russ

Build Reports / Equinox Reverb and Echo Base pedals
March 12, 2013, 02:58:41 PM
The past couple of weeks I have been building a couple of new pedals (at least for me).
Merlin's Equinox Reverb renamed to Cherry Bomb Reverb and Echo Base which is my homage to the old Roland Space Echo (in the graphics) renamed to Base echo. They were both great builds.

That gut shot is a little like a lady lifting her skirt to show a little calf.

Those graphics are creepy. I can't let my kids see that. It's like Mary Poppins hung out with Darth Vader and the Emperor for the weekend.

I really like the graphic on this.  Looks cool.

Tee-shirt transfer make it easy to get wacky with the graphics :)

Nice build and graphic! Any demo?  ;D

Well lets try this...
Just some chords... Playing a Squier Tele with upgraded pickups. Only using the bridge pu here.
Settings on the auto wah are Sensitivity set about 9:30, Bias set about 2:00, Resonance set about 2:30 and Depth set about 7:00 (basically lowest)
Light strumming at start then a bit heavier then light again. Love the how the pedal senses how hard you strum :)
