After trouble shooting, I ran an a\b test against a real fulldrive2 . It is spot on!!!! Thanks for the help!

Thanks, actually the way I counted the pins  was wrong. 4 is 0v or ground
The problem was a bad trace. It looked o.k. but I jumped across and I'm back to normal Voltage wise.                               I... myself... on the other hand, am still a complete Knuckle dragging, slack jawed dimwit!

Has Anyone else built the dearinger ver.2. I am getting really low volume. nothing in vintage mode. Changed the trannys and I.C..  What should my voltages be ?  Double checked all my solders and connections. I am by no means a pro, however I have built  about 75 pedals and am pretty good at troubleshooting...but this has me scratching my head and other anatomical parts Thanks anyone

Tech Help - Projects Page / deadringer leds

The deadringer layout does not show where to land the + side of the leds. Does it matter? Since the 3pdt is in control.

General Questions / Re: darkside tone

I would absolutly agree with the big rig statement. All of the Cornish pedals are that way, amps half to be to at least 3 to 4 on..... lets say a bandmaster to get a pronounced effect. I think alot of pedals are like this though.

General Questions / Re: Fallout
July 02, 2010, 03:13:03 PM
I would order the fallout board as soon as the off board wiring layout is done. I 'm to lazy to work it out myself I have extra 4049s laying about. I would like to use them.

General Questions / darkside tone
July 02, 2010, 02:31:50 PM
My question is more of a statement. The darkside is a pete cornish-ish "g-2" clone and sounds like a big muff, right? I have played the ss-2, g-2 and have owned a p-2. The g2 sounds nothing like a big muff, more like the May Queen Boost from general guitar gadgets, i.m.o. That being said, since the g-2 is a lower gain pedal than the p-2 would not the correct comparison to the darkside actually be the p-2? No disrespect intended. I really like what I am seeing here, and as a matter of sincerity I am Placing an order today.
