Thanks Chromesphere! those boards look great for a 1590a. how much do you think shipping to the states is. I might grab some low profile caps while i'm at it.

EDIT: and while we're on the subject, where to find decent (i.e. !=Tayda) momentary spsts for it that has reasonable shipping to Europe and doesn't require a $10000 purchase? This is pretty much the only reason I've been putting off trying these boards...

Since I've never used any parts before, I can't say if that is a good one, but I had no problems with it yet. Shipping is ok (if your in Germany), outside it gets really heavy and is only worth it with bigger deliveries.

This one is quite small! Nice! Any idea how good they are? How long they last? Cheers

As I said, I have nothing to compare it to. I used it as the slam switch in the zeropoint SDX, which I don't use to often. Therefore it's hard for me to say. But up to now, I haven't had any problems with any of musikding's parts...

I've ordered these (see links below) from Tayda before and they are pretty good. I used them on a footswitch for my friends Roland cube amp. I also used them to upgrade the switches in my old DL4 and FM4

For the low part count I would go with the Madbeans Cupcake!
For the Vero I would Go with a boost. Probably the LPB2 or the AMZ mini boost. Those are easy and low parts as well.

The 1776 seem to be pretty popular. Any one use them in the 1590A enclosures?

Peavey Valveking HD100-it's not vintage or anything but it was a beast! Throw a good OD in front of it and it would crush any 5150!

Gretsch 6 piece Catalina maple- I know they're drums but I've been playing drums since I was 11 (am now 30). This kit was glorious!

Boss PS3- not much else to say

Line 6 DL4 (modded by yours truly)-had all the bells and whistles! Miss it.

I've never had any vintage/really nice gear. I just seem to fall in love with what I have.

5. I listen to terrible music. Ask anyone who is friends with me, I'll be the first to admit it. Some of my faves include New Found Glory, Jamie's Elsewhere, Funeral For a Friend (the Welsh band) and...wait for it...Limp Bizkit (Wes is in my top 10 favorite guitarists). That being said I also listen to some good stuff too, +1 for Jeff Beck and Pantera. I also really dig 80's music.

6. I can't stand Pink Floyd. There it is, I said it. To me, The music is terrible, I don't like the vocalist and there is too much hype around their mediocre talent. To name a couple of others: U2, Dropkick Murphys, Elvis, and the Rolling Stones. Sorry guys, had to say it.

7. I am 30 years old and still find nut shots and fart jokes to be hysterically funny.

8. I listen to audio books a lot on my commute to and from work (I have at least 1 hour each way). The other day I was listening to "The Haunting of Hill House" and I, for some reason, thought that as I turned up the volume the reader would get louder and louder until they would be screaming the book at me. I felt quite ridiculous telling my wife that.

I like it! The wiring isn't bad and the graphics are cool. You guys don't like vero boards huh? I guess it's a good thing i'm going to start etching then...

yeah it is pretty bright. I tried a couple of different values for the CLR but they didn't make too much of a difference. Its not that bad though.
