I'm kinda stoked.  Now that I've moved my output is zero while I get caught up on music store repairs but I have some Aion, PedalPCB, and MB boards in the queue and I'm finding that just taking my time and not having access to all my parts and tools on a daily basis has made me appreciate this a bit more.

Got to (slowly) get back in the groove and looking forward to new MB stuff!!

I've had a hell of a time with a replacement wand on my Hakko FX 888 till I realized it's from Amazon and likely a fake.  I went back to the old wand and it's better.  I'll order another, and likely from Amazon but will be from the Hakko store.

Possibly a similar issue?  The temp was set to 170 but tip just wasn't hot enough.

I'm getting random login issues.  I seem to be logged in but the home screen reverts to the original color theme and if I try to login again I get the spinning wheel.  I seem to be able to go to individual areas of the forum and read d unread posts.

I've long though the best thing I ever did for tele was take the neck up cover off.  Totally changes the pickup.

Sad, it's like the customs office need to gouge just to pay for themselves.  I've been fascinated by the Godin guitar model.  Everything is built in Canada but they also ship the guitar parts in their finished states to be assembled, and set up on the American side.  So technically although it's a Canadian product it gets finished by Americans so the duty thing gets minimized in terms of the final sales price.  And because both sides of the border are Godin trained it's a consistent quality.  I absolutely adore my classical but that's getting us off track.

It's a shame we can't broker a similar deal with small business' on a global scale where small manufacturers can flip their product to localized distribution centers.  The distro's make a few points, the manufacturers pay a few points but shipping costs and customs get a bit more realistic.

That totally blows.  In this day and age you would think that mobility country to country would be a bit more nimble.
