I think it's a bit more like the Juno presets.  You don't have direct control of oscillators but can tweak the crap out of any preset and can run 4 at a time with individual effects on each.

New Guitar Synthesizer Day.  I picked up a Boss GM-800 with the GK-5 pickup and slapped in on my trusty tele.  Got some tweaking to do but am impressed with the tracking so far.  This is one of the stock pads called Piano Symphony.  Me getting all fancy and such on a tele but it's pretty crazy what this thing will do.  Added a touch of reverb.

Having had to replace a lot of rotted out Dimarzios over the years, including a pair in my own gear they were a means to an end in the 70ís, I think they were a blessing back then. They have continued success even with the SD and new guy challenge.  Iím skeptical of the new wave of stuff and given that Iím a big fan of GFS I donít think my opinion counts.  I sound pretty good though.  Just sayinÖ

Dimarzio might have got it right thru the years.

I'm still hung up on the output blade on the jack being so close to the chassis.  Maybe it's just the photo but you're sure it isn't hitting the enclosure when you plug in?

Any chance the jack(s) are grounding out to the enclosure?

I live vicariously through you my man.  If you can, then do it brother.  I hit this weird thing where I found my Yamaha Ty Tabor and the other guitar player in the band said exactly what I thought: ď I think you finally found your voice!Ē  I think Iíve landed but will reserve the right to gas none the less.

Itís weird though, Iíve chased the dragon for almost 50 years and I may have finally caught him.

I had, if memory serves (sketchy lately) a 68 Deluxe gold top that had the mini humbuckers.  Back then everyone routed them out and installed humbuckers.  Stupid mistake but I was the second owner.  The body was intended to house P90's but Gibson's workaround was the trim ring and mini-humbuckers.  Those guitars had a sound of their own.

I'd kill to have that guitar back, even in it's routed form.  At the time it was the last of the mahogany necks before they switched to maple.  Maple????

Iíve been out of the game for a while now but need to get my chops back.  Iíve had fairly good luck with powder coat on my diode,  especially Hammond black.  More is better in terms of power and Iíd love to have a CO2.

I'm still on the fence about butting into a group buy over at PPCB so will send you one if I do.

And for the record the Dragon is the coolest Klone I've run into and was a staple on my board.  I need to revisit why it isn't there anymore.  I suspect somebody "borrowed" it.

I'm still fixated on 100 muffs.  Plus who are they kidding?  They could sell 100's of thousands of these...

That blows.  This certainly got my attention.  Only because it's crazy unique.
