I would bet you've got a solder bridge in your power section. What steps have you taken for debugging thus far?

If it were just the wrong polarity, it could just be a fried diode. Check the polarity protection diode first.

So totally derailing the topic again...

I just came into an Ipad 2. I would like to get a good case for it, and I'm interested in getting a case with a keyboard built in. Anyone have some suggestions, or some warnings?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I knew about Allparts, but mostly I've just used Stewmac for the last several years. Good to know there's other places with good deals too.

Guitar parts are expensive. I don't think I'll be getting a lot of stuff in stock...

Where do you guys go for good deals on repair parts? I know I can get stuff at StewMac, but I'd like to get more utility parts for doing repairs for local gitarists...

Looking for good sources on Alpha/CTS guitar pots, Alpha Les Paul type switches, Blade style switches, etc.

Probably not. But you don't see temps below zero C often I bet. Sometimes we're down at -40 to -50 C where I live.

Uh, your cold fronts from Canada probably don't compete with the fact that here in Canada, we've had snow on the ground for weeks.

Mexico is always very warm in comparison.
