That's an alright deal. I think when I got 3000 resistors a while back from eBay, I paid $9 for the resistors, and $11 for shipping. So $20 for 3000 resistors is $0.0066 per resistor. The deal above isn't bad at $0.01 a resistor, but Tayda is $0.012 per resistor is dang good when you can order as many of whatever values available as you want...

Great job! I like that one.

They're all rip offs, so chances are high they don't have anyone 'experimenting' with the PT2399 delay controls...

You might think of a Duplex as an upstairs downstairs, but they are commonly side by side. In that case, all you do is share one wall, but the properties are entirely separate.

When you say you have signal through R1, and R2, but nothing on R3 that's a bit confusing. Rather than talk about through, talk about which side of the part you get sound on. For example, you could say, "I get sound on the front side of R2, but not on the back side." This would mean that you get sound on the input side of R2 based on the schematic, but not on the output side of R2.

If that were the case, then I would say that either the soldering on that part is bad, the output of R2 is being grounded somehow, or perhaps R2 is faulty.

The MN3005 and V3205 chips will give you twice as much delay time as the MN3008 chips. The 8 series is about half the delay of the 5 series. There's one more chip you may want to consider, the MN3205. It's the chip the V3205 is a clone of actually.

The MN3005/8 chips are desirable because they can be run at 15V, over the 9V that the V3205/MN3205 chips can give you. The problem is that the most popular chip, the MN3005, has become rare, expensive, and there are a lot of counterfeits available. The MN3008 is fully available, but it won't give you the delay time you're looking for UNLESS you double them up, using 4 of the chips instead of 2.

I encourage you to make your decision before you start your build, and carefully plan out what you decide to use.

but what the hell---24 hour turn-around makes it worth it to me.

Exactly. The shipping isn't the cheapest out there, but their order service is top-notch. Turnaround time is insanely fast, things are well packed, and they almost never make mistakes.

The only faster company I've ordered from was Newark. Once I ordered in the morning (like 8am) and I had the package at front door the next day. And I paid for UPS ground.  :o

CJ, I once ordered at 2PM from Mouser, and I got the package, on Vancouver Island, in Canada, the next morning.

Close. Tip goes to middle lug. When the switch is pressed, whichever outside lug is active, thy lug needs to connect to ring. The last lug goes to ground/sleeve.

What is that thing that you used to mount your LED to the enclosure?

It's called a Bezel. They're available at all the various Pedal Supply locations. Look for 5mm for your 5mm LEDs, or the 3mm or the 3mm LEDs.

Very nice Scott, congrats.  Made the mistake of showing my wife the pictures, apparently now we have to get one.

Now, if only that worked with guitars...
