I've been told that it pretty much doesn't matter if you use polarized or non polarized caps in pedals. I imagine they're used there because that's what was used in the original, and why they were used is a mystery we'll never know. I suggest you socket and/or breadboard and experiment for yourself.

I'd rock that thing. Cool stuff.

Either value would likely work as well, but Ian's suggestion of a teepee is a good one.

You don't even need to remove it. Just stick the resistor into the socket...

Call them, you can get a better price point if you ask for it. When you buy through eBay, you always pay more because of the fees involved.

You'll also know when they're back in stock.

Yeah, I saw that this morning and was like, "Mmhmm."

Great execution, well thought out. Super implementation of all the elements. I bet that thing will be the standard for rig testers.

I don't know about those ones Ian, but I use the G&H (I think) ones from Orange County Speaker and they're the bomb. I think they're about 80 cents a piece if you get them in bulk, and they're coming from the States so...

Many things could cause that, but perhaps the most likely culprit is a bad solder joint or other mistake on the board. Have you worked anything for debugging steps?

Wish I could help, but I have no experience with the Honeydripper. It seems like you're working in on the problem well though pony. Hopefully, someone who does have Honeydripper experience can help you out soon, but in the meantime, just keep working those debugging techniques.

It depends on how you want the buffer to act - do you want in line all the time or do you only want in line when it's bypassed?

If you want it always in line, then putting it between the input jack and whatever comes next is usually the easiest.

If you want it in line only when the effect is 'off', you can put it in the opposite side of the 'loop' created in the bypass connection on the 3PDT switch.

So the pedal itself is acting as an amplifier for the buzz. It definitely sounds like a grounding issue to me. Check and recheck your wiring. If you feel it could be a ground loop, taking the sleeve wire off of one of the jacks, doesn't matter which, may fix it. If that doesn't work, chances are you've made a mistake in your wiring somehow.

Could you describe the buzz a little bit better? Is it a constant hum, or is the effect itself
Buzzy? Does anything you do with your guitar affect the buzz?

Oh, the POG is noisy. The Micro POG is not noisy.
