What is your favorite King of TXXX board?

Can your grounding scheme create issues?

Say you run more grounds that needed or wire things in an unconventional way can it create problems or is ground just ground?

When powering a circuit I usually see the amperage at a normal draw say for a distortion it might be .005 or 5ma. But while powering my Ultrastoner build it shows up @ -.001 or -1ma.

I'm trying to diagnose why the Ultrastoner doesn't sound right.. maybe DC leaking into the ground plane?

Can anyone give me a reason this might be?

I don't know if it's the cables or the jack I use but I would never gig with the possibility of loosing a pedal during a set. The cheap DC jacks I've been using are a bit loose.

Just wondering your take on changing out TLO72s and 74s with better chips?

I've been staring down etching copperclad for a long time and I think it is time to up my game. I was wondering if you have any tips for etching faceplates?

Where should I start? I have a couple of fuzz face circuits but I'm chasing a particular sound.  That blooming gating splattered sound. Voltage starved? Particular trannies? Any input ?

I have built a Weener Wah and want to add more mods.
I would like to be able to adjust the filter as much as possible
I have a rotary for the different center frequencies..

Is an external pot for adjusting the Q of the filter practical? (R7)
Maybe another rotary?

How would you wire an additional pot in series to the main pot?
+ - wiper...hmm..

Where is there more information I could peruse?

I am thinking about putting two deathclaw boards into a multi and hopefully modulating them. Preferably with two different LFOs...

I have not been giving Brian much money lately and it always makes me feel better when I do. 8-)

I've populated a 2014 Moodring and a 1776 Modulation add on board. The Mod board only has Depth and Speed for the LFO. All of the mods seem to be from a strip version of a board that has the delay pot on it.

Can I add the LFO to the existing 10k (space) delay pot that is on the Moodring? Here are the docs for both boards:

Rej's KWAWK or Brian's WEENER?

Looking at building a wah pedal.
I have Rej's Kwawk PCB and it calls for a LF351..
Anyone know a direct replacement?

A bit pricey.. still interesting.

I use an auto wah software plug-in that has a threshold setting that triggers an ADSR.
It also has max and min frequency settings (toe and heel or open and closed) that lets the ADSR push the wah to a preset MAX frequency. (stuck wah) The effect is such that any drop in level below he threshold setting allows the wah to close per your Release settings on the ADSR.

Basically I love this thing and wish I could make a pedal, or find a design that does basically the same thing.
From what I know most auto wahs use an envelope follower..unless I'm mistaken?

3x12AX7 in pre and 2 EL84 for power.

The Celestion is a 80/70. I bought 4 refurbs for $29 each. Sounded like hell at first but they have broken in just fine.

They have a 5w might make a decent bench amp..?
