Was the Prescription Experience stripboard or is there a pcb out there? Breadboarding the Thing Modulator was fun as hell, definitely recommended.

Theres a bean layout in the members projects section I think, and Fuzzdog has a board for one

Im always in awe at posts on here with reverse etches, mine could be half a mile deep and sanded with a feather over years and theyd still have scratchmarks on the paint. Amazing build!

Brians in and out wires are on top of the pcb from his build but mention the potential for noise if too close to the MN chips, is under going to be better as youve done?

It's a forum members layout - Alan's - so you'd have to order three https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/iObFkEAm

The idea of leaving the Tories with more power scares the crap outta me.

Its amazing to listen to the Leave campaigners suggest the money currently going to Europe will pay for X many hospitals and X many nurses. We'll still have Conservatives in power and theyll still see the NHS as something to dismantle and sell.

On the compressor is it one or both leds that need pointing at the LDR?

Lots of 10 fresh from the manufacturer sound like a great idea to me, ive got a collection of eBay ones that are just as likely foxtrot across my desk as they are to repeat a guitar signal so plug and play sounds good!

General Questions / Re: Fuzzdog pedals
May 25, 2016, 05:23:03 AM
Ive bought a fair few of them, they were my first pcbs I bought when he was still Poodle Pedals and hes got some good clones - Im still needing to throw together a Brassmaster kit Ive been sat on since Christmas. Overdrive, delay, fuzzes all been great and the two issues I have had have probably been user error - volume drop with the Blue Box and Superfuzz.

Juansolo has utilised them - check his multi boxes - so thats a pretty big thumbs up!

If its the current current lover (hah) i think youd be fine soldering the 100pf to lugs 1& 3 of the volume pot. Possibly.

Yeah it seems like the perfect 'I told you so' for people who treat KS as an online shop. Im more bummed out for the creator than my money.

I recently got burned on Kickstarter - Peachy Printer, gutted for the founder and hope he can continue - but love browsing the technology sections for ideas like this

Holy sh*t you dont even need to say it three times! Definitely UK plug and yeap to the transformer. Ill test the transformer on its own and then if its kaput go for a 1054 chargepump for pedalboards sake. Wasnt sure if there were any known issues so thanks a lot for that man  :D The box will be in no way harmed, lest my head be shrunk and doomed to spend eternity in a waiting room...

Doth your boundless vintage time effects based knowledge extend as far as disc delays? Dont wanna spam this glorious place with my questions but I got hold of an Arbiter Magnetic Disc Echo/Delay and not yet opened that Pandoras box.

I recently was given a DEM, havent investigated the model or anything but its missing its UK plug. Im aware of the hazards of mains and dont mind checking the transformer but is there anyone who knows of any preferable way of powering these? Be it wire the plug and stop asking stupid questions, fit an adaptor and buy an 18/24 volt psu or an adequate current chargepump.

Apologies if its a daft question, google didnt turn up much but I may be using the wrong phrasing. And I didnt want to annoy Scruffie by trying to summon him like Beetlejuice :-)
