General Questions / Re: Okko Dominator switch

After reading the thread at FST, I see an on/off/on SPDT...
Also, you can use a 1M pot for a full range selection.

Whaou!
Very impressive.
Gut shot, please!

At this point you really need an audio probe.
It's real easy to build and save sooooooo much time and headache!
You will then be able to trace the audio signal and found where it stop.
Also do you have the schematic (it helps to follow the signal) ?

I'm very happy to see this picture!
Glad I could participate.

I had to take a break on this one for other projects and because I didn't have all the components.

Board almost fully populated:

And everything hooked up:

I don't have a 24V DC supply, Banzaimusic was out of stock, so I breadboarded a 9V -> 25V supply with an LT1054.
I plugged everything in, and... the clean sound was here but nothing else.
Debugging started.
First I noticed something very disappointing: I've used an LM7815!!! I don't understand how I could have made that mistake...
After soldering the LM7915, I still didn't get -15V at its output. So, let's start checking for solder bridge.
I found one lousy one! Just one! And... tada! -15V and delay at pin 4 of IC7!
After that, some biasing and It's alive! Alive!

And here is the v0.3.
Small footprint and panelized...
So 12 PCBs by boards. 5 boars with Elecrow for less than 20€ (with shipping) = 60 PBCs.

New version for the BazzFuss.

QuoteI imagine d1 is circuit protection. c2 is for ps filtering and r2 is the clr for the led?

Yes.

I've haded an other place for DC wiring so we can place the DC Jack at the top or at the right of the enclosure.
And the 2 big holes are for the use of 4mm plastic PCB standoffs (like theses: http://www.banzaimusic.com/Standoff-PCB-ADH-9-5mm.html) if the pot is wire to the board...

All of them are very, very nice.
I really like the green ringer & the Devolter. What is the size of this last one?

Quick and Dirty:

QuoteThis is straight-forward as can be. 1590B with option for solder lug or PCB pins mounted 16mm pots.

Pfff... I don't think I can design a PCB this quick! :-)
I just made a nap and... Bam! Here it is!
Did you start from scratch?
#42
If we use Elecrow, with 10 boards, 10x10cm max, they are at 13€43 and I think I remember the shipping cost was around 12€.
With a 10x10 board, for the bass fuzz I think it will be possible to stick 4 PCBs on one board, so in the end => 40 PCBs.
With the same logic, the 5 boards 10x10cm are around 5€. So 4x5 = 20 PCBs for something around 17-20€...
As Madbean say, the more you buy, the less it cost...
For the delay, It took a little bit more than 3 weeks for my last order.
#43
The question is how many PCBs do you need?
#44
QuoteMaybe Zombiesonore can help with the first one since he speaks french and can help me with any questions with the documentation. English is my first language not French. If he is willing to help with that one

Avec plaisir!

But remember, I design boards but no circuit/schematic, alright?

#45
I make the same offer as Madbean.
If you give me schematics, I can design the boards.
I really would like to be involved in this project.
And I'm currently working on a board for a Rebote-like delay...
