IMO the ginger makes for a great preamp. It can make most dull sounding arrangements sound really good.

Honestly, for silent practice, nothing beats my bass/guitar into my iPad running Jam-up. Sounds great and is really inexpensive.

Sure,
Input jack goes to true bypass switch with the ginger on the true bypass. After the TB the out of the TB switch goes to the tip of the output jack and to the center lug of a SPDT center off toggle. One half of the toggle goes to the line driver DI, the other half to the headphone amp. So possible combinations:
1. Bypass everything
2. Ginger only to output in front
3. Ginger-->DI
4. Ginger-->Headphone amp

5. DI only
6. Headphone amp only

7. Ginger-->DI and front out in parallel
8. Ginger-->Headphone amp and front out in parallel
Only combination you can't do is both the DI and Headphone amp at the same time.

Even just a few layouts (2 knob, 3 knob, 4 knob 125B) where we could add text to text boxes for each knob and then a place to put a graphic in the open space on the top. An Adobe file (fill in the blank style would be great). Simply type in your text, choose a font, drag and drop a graphic and then email the file to you. That would be sweet. As for cost, If it is as easy as taking a file and sending to the engraver, then charge $10 on top of the cost of the enclosure.
So:
125B Powdercoated: $11 (cost for most expensive option at mammoth)
Engraving: $10
Shipping: $4
Call it $25 per box shipped. I could see that. Much more and it would be too costly for me.

Yikes! This has me worried. So it's been since Thursday, supposed to be up today...I really hope nothing bad has happened. I noticed the change in URL...but even with the new URL, the links are still 404'd...

John! Where have you been for the past 24 hours? I can't live without you!  :o I spend most of my forum time at BYOC, and I am hoping the "maintenance" is a true migration to another server. They have been doing a number of upgrades to the main site, so hopefully...
One thing they could have done though; I get emails from them periodically about sales and such. Couldn't they have sent out an email blast letting us know what is up?
Also, thank goodness I ordered EFx's effect blade before I lost his site name.

I used to own an 800RB that I loved, but rarely used the power (and it was heavy), so I sold it a few years ago and have been using an MB200 Micro head. I love the thing. You could never believe that the little thing puts out so much power. That coupled with my 1x15" and 1x10" cabs just kills.

Use a pointed router style bit on a dremel with the flat router base. Freehand is tough, but you could build a template and go from there. You'd be surprised how fine of a line you can do with one of those and a bit of practice.

Test the pot(s) with your DMM. Pots are typically 20%+- accuracy, so it is very likely that your 50k is 47k. But in reality, you would have no problem using a 50k in place of the 47k.

A thread like this pops up every couple of months or so,I guess sometimes things fall through the cracks. I had an order take about a month or so to get to me,and all I got was my order and nothing more,no apology or anything else these guys mention in their experiences. It's cool though,they have great hardware and sometimes things just happen.

See this is something I have been grappling with. I have made many orders to mammoth and about 70% of the time they are fine and correct. But I have had 30% that have missing parts, not shipped, wrong parts. I agree too that a thread like this pops up every couple of months or so, and to me, it was fine when they started the company a while back.  I can understand the pains of starting a business, and Blake has been stellar at fixing problems, but this far into the business (what a few years now?) and these problems still persist...I just don't feel really good about this being the norm...you know?
