I remember building my green ringer to EQD Tentacle specs (diodes are 1n4148/1n914) and that the build docs mentioned matching up the diodes, which I did ... that said I see most green ringer projects use germaniums or other low Vf diodes ... the effect does work, but I'm wondering if my diode choices were poor and should be the lower Vf ... any input welcome

Anybody out there offer pcbs of this one or the demeter trem? always bugged me that I never see those offered.

I'll be updating this one once I'm completely finished. I need to add feet (so it sits on the amp head properly straddling the handle), control labels, and probably do some wire management inside. It definitely needs a sex wax sticker on there for legitimacy but a local surf shop sticker is a nice start. This is on an older revision of the board that I found when unpacking a couple boxes of garage stuff leftover from my move. Wonderful spring reverb, plenty of drip available, and the EQ with the reverb dialed out is really nice and warm. 
The downside is working with such a cheap enclosure(less than $20 for a 19.1" tool box). The metal dents from center punching and dents worse with drilling, it was also a little beat up in shipping. This particular cheap Chinese one takes a while to get even through Home Depot so I just rolled with it rather than return it. The upside is you've got real estate for artwork or surf shop decals.

I'm curious as to everyone's take on whether you should include schematics with build documents. I can't say I don't always need one as in the past I've used them to find mistakes, both mine as the builder and the maker's(incorrect mask, missing links, pads that shouldn't be joined). The reason I ask is I recently picked up a pcb for a project from a maker that's generally ahead of the curve getting pcbs to market, even ahead of themselves as "build documents to follow" is pretty much their MO. I've had the pcb for a while, waited for their build doc, open it up and no schematic. It rubs me the wrong way.

I have to say it was fun to build a pedal mostly out of my amp parts drawers ... 1/2 watt resistors and mallory 150s fit the board nicely.

So I've been gifted a senn e609 mic ... and I've got a macbook pro with garage band ... what's a good basic usb interface ($100 squeal limit) so I can start piddling around recording myself sucking at guitar?

I got asked today where they were so rather than cover it individually I'll share a bit of my personal life. looking at the schema between the dirtbaby/total recall ... any reason(that I'm not seeing) I can't just use the total recall parts values in the modulation section if I just want the single control knob like a vintage dmm?

So I've had a maxon od-820 build giving me fits and I've narrowed it down to the jfet input buffer. I'm wondering if its worth tracking down why this jfet is clipping or if it can just be skipped completely like building a tube screamer without the buffer?

So I've been trying to come on here since Friday to search the forum for any kind of documentation on this Slow Gear PCB from Oshpark I won in a PIF from Droogie. I was hoping someone has it or a link to it. TIA
