I've had a hard time finding the B2M pots.  I wonder (for cost sake) if a B1M would work instead.

If you look at the pic in the original post, you'll get your answer  ;D
God, I'm an idiot.  Don't mind me.

I just ordered the xvive mn3005's from cabintech too. They expect to ship them in April. We'll see...
FWIW, the guy from Cabintech gave constant updates if things were delayed.  When I finally got an email indicating that they had the ICs, I received them shortly after.  IMHO, very reputable.

The AMZ MOSFET Booster is probably one of the cleanest volume boosts.

How Do I? Beginner's Paradise. / Re: Bourns 2262 Trimpot

No reason you can't use any trimpot that fits the footprint of the board.  I know the inexpensive 6mm trimpots from Tayda will work if you bend the legs ever-so-slightly.

I bought direct from CabinTech.  Great communication and the XVive 3005s seem to work great.  Had I bought from their eBay store, I would have left a great A+++.

If you ever have questions about what to normally use in regards to parts/packages, let me/us know.

I find that I, personally, use R0207/3 for resistors, 072X025 for MOST film box caps, etc.

General Questions / Re: Acid for enclosure etching?
February 23, 2016, 10:46:22 AM
The only thing I'm trying to figure out in regards to NaOH is what to use as a masking tape/spot-fixer.  With FeCl3, I could use nail enamel.  With NaOH, I can't seem to find anything, and therefore, the sides of my enclosure look yucky.

Tech Help - Projects Page / Re: Pork Barrel

While I haven't built the Pork Barrel myself (it's on my list), the BOSS CE-2 (to me) was not subtle.  Quite wet, in my opinion.

I just wanted to chime in and say the same thing happened in my build.  An ever-so-subtle hiss occurs on the repeats.  I, too, am using XVIVE 3005.  (Now, when I speak of my hiss, I'm talking about the true output; not when using the audio probe.)

Have you had any success/update on this?

@lincolnic, keep us posted.  I just finished my TR build last night, and had the exact same issue as you did at the beginning of the thread.  Even with GAIN2 at max (or min), the volume of IC4 pin 7 was never the same volume (as stated in the doc).

I also noticed another thread (http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=21507.0) that talks about a bit of white noise (hiss) on the repeats.  This happens to me, even if the delay isn't MAXED.  If it's normal, I'm fine with that.  Some people say it's because I'm using the XVIVE instead of NOS.
