the gtrpcb version do not sound authentic, not bad distortion, just not authentic copies. The forumite who designed the 2in1 got it really right when he did his! I think he uses a Paul McCartney avatar.

I'll do a youtube demo eventually this summer. I use the MZ-2 as a mono distortion before the CE-3 stereo chorus split then run it in stereo to 2 MIJ DD-3's and then into a pair of 1969 Traynor YBA-3 Custom Specials and a stereo 4x12.

BUMP! The distortion is awesome, I've been waiting for someone to agree with me. Yes, forget all the digital stuff... it's not great, and clone the distortion. Through a 100w EL34 head you can sound like EVH with this pedal. It is very plexi sounding in response and tone, almost has an opamp BMP flavour to it with a lil' HM-2 thrown in.

Video is awesome! This sounds really good. The missing preamps were the only thing lacking from the 1776 multiplex concept. Those Brain pres are pretty good sounding, well done. Let us know when this project is up for a group buy again.

Nice one! What kind of preamp did you do?

I've got two Strats, one with Fralin Vintage Hot and the other with Lace Sensor B/S/R. Like you'd expect, the Fralin's are pretty vintage sounding. The Lace are all around great, not too vintage sounding, but well balanced for lots of styles of music. If I only could have one I'd actually go with the Lace Sensor...but that's also because I've been playing that set for a couple of decades and I am really used to the sound. I'd like to try the Texas Specials someday, too.

Whatever the case, I put in a toggle switch on all my Strats to put the neck and bridge in parallel for psuedo-Tele sounds. Can't live without it.

Hi Brian, how do you wire that? Is it similar to the Gilmour signature strat?

This is the best sounding version I've heard. Anyone here ever try to make one of these?

The pics are in the thread I linked to. I can't find the Reverb listing, apparently its from 1992.

The part count looks about right for a Big Muff with a buffer.

Apparently this is a non gooped P2 that was once for sale on Reverb...

YOU WIN. Please pick up your golden ticket at the chocolate factory at your earliest convenience. Nice work dude, so very epic.

In a TB loop I usually have a Cornish buffer feeding a 250k EB vol. pedal. Works like a charm! I always noticed loading from the EB so then I went this route and have never looked back. It also gives you the chance to feed your tuner with a buffered split and tune silently on stage.

Out of curiosity... what would happen if you folks shipped international out of Canada?

Thanks Bryan. I'll have to try this on the next build.
