Thanks for the kind words.
I used a decal after several frustrating attempts at etching where the image wouldn't transfer from paper to box. Not sure if I used the wrong stuff or if my iron has given up the ghost (I haven't ironed a shirt for years so can't verify it's working... one of the few perks of the freelancing life

There are indeed some fine musicians from the punk and post-punk era... This Heat, Wire, Joy Division, Public Image Ltd, Crass... These bands also knew what they were doing with effects and studio technology. Sounds like the jerks in the band need to broaden their horizons

What a great idea. How did you make switching between the two variations possible - are there two boards in there? IIRC the resistor values were different between the HP and SA.

I'm borrowing a Shin-ei Companion Fuzz for a few days which has six 2SC828 inside (according to the battery plate). I've fallen in love with its gated fuzz sound - sure will be hard to return the pedal. Perhaps this isn't the place to ask, but does the Nucleon PCB nail that sound? Any other recommendations?
