You loose a bit of fine detail when converting to a vector image though.

I've redrawn a few images by hand when I haven't been happy with the conversion results (which has been the case almost every time I've tried it).

To illustrate (see what I did there?), here's the original:

And here's the vector image, redrawn by moi in Inkscape:

It's not exactly the same image after it's been redrawn (in part by deliberate choice), but fine details are not a problem.

Love the graphics on both. My Little Klony would make for a great T-shirt.

Fun picture of Felix the Cat (is it just a cool image, or is there a Princeton connection?), and Vertigo looks just like the record label logo on acid. (Or so I've been told.) But what wood is that gorgeous table made of?

Love the colors. Very spiffy.

Wayback Machine is your friend. Start eg. here:

Doesn't look like there are any actual build documents though, just BOMs and drill templates.

Yeah, the only thing that has kept them from running the Gibson brand into the ground is that, no matter what, lots of people will always want Gibson Les Pauls.
That's probably exactly what all the accordion makers thought. Always is a very long time.

Thriller uses a drum machine, and they had access to Porcaro.

Let's hear it for Allan Holdsworth's great drummer pal, Mac Hine!

Very nice work! I wanna know how many phasers you have.
There's always room for one more phaser.

Good point, thanks Chris. So how do you go about trapping an Armadillo?

If there ever was a job best left to professionals, it's that one.

That really looks nice, no gut shots?
Cheers Thomas, I was inspired by your incredible 1590LB work, this is hardly a THT flanger with 6 knobs though.

Here's a shot of the wiring mess. The PCB is tucked nicely to the side.

(Edit: I guess you meant gut shots of the MOSFET Overdrive  :) would also like to see them)

Risotto with porcini and horn of plenty mushrooms, self picked of course.
Looks real good!
Will definitely try that again, next time with funnel chanterelles.

Is that a jar of Vegemite in back there?
Well spotted. Sitting there waiting for brekky. Down to my last jar so hoping things get back to some definition of normal before I run out.

Back to earth today. Bacon and eggs with roasted rosemary/garlic root vegetables. Fingerling potatoes, carrots, parsnips and these very cool, very small Japanese turnips, white and somewhat smaller than i ping pong ball. Chili flake salt & Sriracha.
That looks really good. My attempts at frying eggs usually end up with them being overcooked, those look just right. The veggies look delicious too.

You crazy man.
Yep, this wasn't exactly an exercise in sanity, or practicality. Making the pot side-mounted would make this a lot more stompable. Maybe next time.

Risotto with porcini and horn of plenty mushrooms, self picked of course. Recipe by Catalan master chef Fran Boronat whose cooking course I was fortunate to attend last year in Barcelona.

Here's my latest build, all-SMD Echoplex preamp in a box that's slightly smaller than a 1590LB. KiCAD files & Gerbers @ https://github.com/rockola/pimentero

Top in glorious British Racing Green. No LED for now, might be a good idea to put one in later though.

Back.

Gutshot. Sorry about the blurriness, it was tricky to get the phone camera to focus.

Rosemary smoked chicken thighs
Did the rosemary also go in the smoker? Our smoker rarely sees meat, more likely fish and veggies. Baltic herring smoked with apple chips was a failed experiment though.

crispy duck fat potatoes
Duck fat potatoes are so good. Not very healthy, but delicious.

Brother-in-law called my wife the other day: "Do you guys want a moose calf liver?" Like, does a moose calf poop in the woods? (That one doesn't anymore though.) Trying to decide how to prepare it. The smoker is unfortunately out of reach at the cabin.
