Here is what drog_trog sent me about wiring up the stereo output jacks:

Quote
you need a 4 pin jack
Tip
Sleeve
ring & Ring

The 2 rings are 'open' so that when a jack is inserted the 2 rings connect. Im struggling to remember the part number tho

To me, this is still clear as mud. I don't think this is how it works in the original Boss CE1 either.

Build Reports / Re: Aion L5 preamp build (Long overdue)

The nameplate for the enclosure is a hidden page on the Aion website.

Here's the link to the actual enclosure page, but it's out of stock.

Crude oil is primarily a bunch of hydrocarbons of various lengths. During refining,  the oil is distilled, which separates the various lengths. Methane, Ethane...Octane...
But of course, Methane and other gases will primarily come out of a gas well, not an oil well.

Octane is just one of the lengths that comes out, and a bunch of other additives are used to get it to burn properly in a gasoline engine.

Various longer chains are used as diesel fuel, along with additives.

The lengths can also be cracked to produce shorter chains. So in theory, with enough cracking, oil could be turned entirely into methane and impurities, but it would be very costly.

It's so cramped I don't know how you got it all in there.

I have a desoldering gun. Iron and pump in one gun shaped device. Cheap and works fantastic. I think I got mine for about $90 from ebay. Just make sure you get one that works on the correct voltage.
I'm pretty sure it's this exact model, except not Polish:

Moog is great and all, but being able to play chords makes an amazing difference over the typical squeaks and squeals of most monosynths.

That's easily solved:

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MoogOne16--moog-one-16-voice-analog-synthesizer?mrkgcl=28&mrkgadid=3248788352&rkg_id=0&product_id=MoogOne16&campaigntype=shopping&campaign=aaShopping%20-%20Core%20-%20Keyboards%20&%20Synthesizers&adgroup=Keyboards%20&%20Synthesizers%20-%20Synthesizers&placement=google&adpos=1o1&creative=217452498644&device=m&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CjwKCAjw3qDeBRBkEiwAsqeO7qYo83MubBU2efwD_XzoKGV4TUSGPVYGs4ne03PYZCKdlBvdOfULchoCwXAQAvD_BwE

Yes of course. Why spend $250 when you could spend $8k instead? Doing the math, you could buy 16 Behringer Model D's (at $250 which is what they go for used around here) for half the cost of the Moog One 16 voice. The obvious answer though is to buy the 16 Model D's and the Moog One.

While not quite as impressive as the Matrixbrute, I just picked up a Novation X-Station 25. It's a 25 key, 8 voice virtual analog synth. Unlike most controllers and virtual synths in general these days, it has a ton of knobs and faders and buttons, all of which can be midi mapped to control your computer based synth.

I picked it up for $100, going price is usually $200-250. The only thing wrong with it is a knob is missing and I can't find a replacement one that will fit.

Yep, $230

Can you select multiple switches on the Behringer?  If not, I'd say they definitely took a look at the DIY version.  That seems to be a big section of their marketing.

You can select any combination of the switches on the Behringer. From all 4 at once to none, which is kind of a secret 5th setting.

This should be simple, but I can't understand which wire goes to what on the stereo switch out. Could anybody help? I've drawn a doodle to show you as reference.

Yes I'm sure it could be modded to be true bypass, but if you watch the video where he demos the high/low switch, the high side acts as an overdrive. He explained that much like the Echoplex EP3 preamp, people would use the drive sound of the effect without using the chorus/echo effect at all. Doing it as a stomp switch would be ideal.

I came up with a quick vero layout for doing the High/Low switch. I'm not very good at them but I think this one came out alright.

So this video of That Pedal Show collaborating with TC Electronic on the Boss CE1 was just posted a couple days ago:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbjWvN9nGAk

Dan's CE1 sounds great and now I feel I have to put the High/Low switch in. Stuffing that in this clone would make the High side non-true bypass while leaving the Low true bypass.

Also, his vibrato side is messed up and disconnected from the LFO so it creates more of a Boss Dimension D/C or mild flanger effect which is very cool.

Great job.  I look at those and think, "Yeah, maybe I'll just buy the Behringer version."

I bought the Behringer one off craigslist for $25 just a few months ago. I'm extremely pleased with it. Finding one at that price has got to be very rare though.

You might try something like this:
https://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2012/01/mini-blend-jfet.html

It's small enough that you could probably stuff it in. I'm planning on using a 1590xx enclosure on mine so I think I would have plenty of room if I did that.
