Yeah, you need to audio probe the following points:
IC1A pins 1 and 7 (set the gain halfway up)
IC2a pins 1 and 7

That should give you a clue as to where the signal is getting lost.

How many bottle caps did that cost you?

Khajiit has no need for bottle caps.

This is one I used black leather dye on but did the same steel wool trick. Funny that I kinda hate relic guitars but I really like this look on an enclosure.

A sort of blueprint for new/different projects. For some, the chance to focus on some new skills.

I'd like to see a before/after. In the photo it's hard to tell how the look changed.

But any new finishing option is a good one, in my opinion.

Voltages look pretty good. You need to audio probe the circuit and find out if the PT2399 is getting signal and putting out any delay at all or if the signal is dying somewhere else.

I decided to try out some Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black. The idea is you wipe the chemical on aluminum and it reacts and blackens the surface. Supposedly you can get a pretty even finish with a couple of coats but ain't nobody got time for that. So, I rubbed it in for a few minutes, rinse and dried. After that I scratched up the surface with some fine steel wool and later on did one coat of gun stock wax. I like this look quite a bit! A white silk screen over this would look really cool.

The Black solution is $8 for 3oz and that should do quite a few enclosures.

The dimension limitation of Eagle can be a bit frustrating simply because it limits where you can place components in the workspace when you are doing a layout (I like to organize things in blocks first). But, the size restriction itself is plenty big. My license is for 160mmx100mm and I don't think I have run into that being a problem yet. Plus, they have the free version to get you started, and you can use my entire Eagle library which I have been modifying for years (in the Eagle section of this forum---it's a modified version of the older gaussmarkov one).

There are a couple frustrating things for me about Eagle but mostly I love working with it. And, it never, ever crashes.
