pp2+ = 169 at sweetwater but yeah the 1-spot has more options.  as always, it just depends what you need.

For me, it's needing 300mA on two outputs. The 9vAC would be good for rectification for a submini OD or amp.

Very nice. I think this is the one for me to replace the PP2+.

Yeah something is up there. You would naturally have a small tonal change since there is an extra phase stage but it should not be drastic. Please review your parts R31-R35 and C9 to make sure they are correct.

Yeah, my calling "detection" was a bit of a quaff. It's the PTC (something I've never used outside of FFX).

They are worth quite a bit. I would hold on to them.

You can use the SAD1024 to build a vintage MXR Flanger.
The 4096 can be used in some vintage delay and echo units although I don't have a list. I'm sure someone here knows.

It will work with mn3008. I have not tried four 3005 yet but I will.

Sweet! Zombie circuit back from the dead. Whatever it is.

I don't think so, maybe from the prototype. There are a couple on facebook though.

This is pretty current. Forrest and I do the layouts for the prototypes, but for production layouts we hand it over to our engineer, Jerry. He also designed the switching system. It even has headers on it so we can program the chips right on the board. Jerry is pretty awesome. Dave and Jerry also do final assembly and testing. We've got them set up so they are very easy to plug/unplug with the headers and stuff.

One other cool thing is we have AC detection in there so it won't fry the board if you plug in AC instead of DC.

I think we gave the technical info.

Did we not ever post a gutshot of it here?

48 sec on the audio demo...LOL. Really.

You know, all it is going to take is an EOL on the PT2399 and the v series of chips and we are all shit out of luck on building delays down the road. I seriously hope someone will come along an do a new production run of something equivalent to the MN3005 with the higher voltage tolerance.

If you still have the old board and want to send it to me I will have a look at it. If the board itself is bad, I'll refund your second purchase. It's rare, but it can happen.

Yes, that seems to be the case. They are still available for the time being though through some vendors but the supply will dwindle. I will see about getting some links together for the build doc.

I do have some of the supposed new and improved v3205's so I will try those out too. Not holding my breath, though.

Would 4x 3005 work in this application? I'm dying to know if you've tried that out yet.

Thing is, BL3208's are in current production, and MN3005's are not. Germanium transistors are one thing (no danger of them running out soon), but low volume BBDs are another...

Brian, I thought the 3208 was a 9V part?

The 3208 is 10v max. The way I have this set up is that the audio/filters run at 15v and the BBD section runs at 10v. The compander section is modified slightly so that the output is matched to the Vb supply of the audio section which helps keep the signal clean. It's a similar setup to the Echoczar (although the actual circuits are nothing alike).
