Maybe I got it wrong? Epicly?

Doubt it. I think Brian missed the text UNDER the picture in your initial post.

I did miss it. I thought it would be fun, but Clay ruined it for everyone.

Just KIDDING! Clayford gets a special prize from me. Good job, d00d!

It's actually 2M2 in this case. I know for a fact that is what he used in the KTR (or it might have been 2M...whatever). Still, I'm not really sure how the pulldown would load the signal, especially considering it is buffered right after that. It might be possible to leave the pulldown off altogether, regardless of what bypass method you use. I'll check it out as soon as I can get to it. My curiosity is piqued.

Madbean - you say in the Kingslayer 2 doc about not knowing how to do the buffered/true bypass switch.

The info is here:
http://freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=15958

See especially the comments by paulc, who did the design for the KTR.....and this link:

Ian

Thanks, Ian. It wasn't so much not knowing how to do it, but rather not knowing how they did it. Specifically, you would want to lift the pulldown resistor in buffered bypass mode which to me looks like it would require a 3pdt toggle. But, it's such a minor thing I can't see it having a negative influence on the outcome. If it has already been dissected on FSB, people may just want to go with that setup rather than my solution. I did not know Paul had chimed in (I don't check in there too often).

Brian, great job on the Kingslayer2 doc and thanks for including a link to your Photoshop template for it. Saved me a bunch of time.

Cody

Cool, thanks!

All the docs are up except for the Deadringer2. I have to put in some time processing orders before people start flooding me with emails, but I will do my best to get the Deadringer completed tonight.

Kingslayer doc is finally up. The last page or so proved to take a while to finish.

Anyway, SunkingII is up next!

Thank you! I'm really happy with how it turned out. Plus, I've been jonesing to incorporate some of those plastic shaft pots in a project since they are so cheap now.

Quick update: I'm working furiously on the new documentation and it will be up as quickly as possible. All the orders from this new batch will be processed tomorrow and shipped Monday morning.

Hi Brian,

will the Moodring require any "esoteric" components we need to stock up on?
Can't wait to try this one!

Mark

It uses the Belton BTDR-2 and a PT2399. Everything else is pretty normal.

Looks like I broke some of the code on the Baby Boards buttons. All fixed now. Just be sure to refresh the page next time you load it up. Thanks for the catch.

Deadringer II, Sunking II, Zero Point Micro II, Zero Point Mini, NomNom, Naughty Fish, Kingslayer II as well as more Weener Wah and Kranken PCBs.

  • Project docs will be up over the next 24-48 hours.
  • I will be doing demos of the Sunking, Deadringer, ZP Mini, and Nom Nom. These will be built on production boards instead of using my prototypes so it will take me a bit of time.
  • I will post the demos as soon as I can get things built and boxed up.
  • Limit of 5 Sunking boards per customer so more people have a chance to get one. If I do another batch I won't put a limit on them.
  • Shipping rates have changed: Domestic shipping is now $2.50. $50 and over is free 1st Class. I brought back free Priority for $100 and over. For International, the rates are the same, but I pushed the ranges further so smaller orders are cheaper to ship now. We'll see how this goes.
  • The Projects Page has been re-organized a bit

Also, I will have demos coming for the following: Sunking II, Deadringer II, Zero Point Mini and the NomNom. I will be building these up on the production boards since the final versions evolved a bit form the prototypes so it will take a bit of time. But, soon....

Lastly, please note there is a limit of 5 Sunkings per customer. This is unusual for me to do, but I want to ensure that they don't "get gone" too quick. If I do a re-order of them, I'll lift the limit next time.
