Most of the projects I looked at are pretty easy...if you already understand a lot of shit I don't and have experience working with things that I don't.  ;D

Heh, yeah....but wasn't that also true for building and designing effects when you first got into it? You done pretty good with that....who knows, you might be a gaddam CNC wizard!

Well, if you want to DIY the whole thing it's not terribly expensive. The three major expenses are the motors, controllers and the rotary tool. There are some tutorials on re purposing printer motors, there are some prepacked driver modules on eBay and elsewhere and you can use a $50 Dremel. Lot of info on Instructables.

I own a Probotix Fireball v90, but I just have not invested the time into making it work for me. I have plenty of ideas about what to do with it (non-PCB related)!

You can pop over here anytime to play with mine. Maybe you can teach me how to use it, too.

I will post the BOM for all the new projects by the end of this week. There are still a couple things I'm sorting out so some values might change here in the next couple of days. Just a little last minute tweaking.

Turns out there is a Leviathan pedal already. It's a fuzz, but I thought it best to change the name. Since it has the same bones as the other two Zero Points I just re-named it the ZP Mini.

Got the package from Eastwood last night. Plenty enough in there to get me started. I ended going with a fairly cheap, used compressor off eBay. I figure I will keep the investment low for now until I decide whether or not I want to do powder coating regularly. According to the specs on the compressor, the noise level is around 88dB. With my regular ear protection muffs it should be tolerable.

Last up is a little oven and I'm ready to start destroying some enclosures!

Are there instructions and a build sheet with this board? I ordered a cave dweller.

QuoteDocumentation will be uploaded today or tomorrow.

Will, welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear about the Dirtbag. Can you give us some voltages on IC1?

I forgot to mention the free Xmas Poo!

Actually, Jon, the November projects are now the December projects. I just did not get it together yet to make it happen. The final decision is to verify the last Harbinger prototype and decide whether or not I can afford to get it made with all the other projects for December. I will do that as soon as my 6 yr old gets over this damn Strep throat (been home from school since last Thursday). Before the month is out, though...that's pretty much guaranteed.

The EggHead PCBs got here really quick! I will start including them in orders shipping today onward. Documentation will be uploaded today or tomorrow.

Hmm, well I don't like a lot of loud noise for sure. I even wear ear plugs when using a Dremel. Maybe I can find one on CL.

Thanks for the help!
