It's a shame. The DIY projects subsection was crystal clear to me. Liked it as it was.
But somehow rebrowsing the archive section allowed me ton find an etchable version of the porkbarrel.

Thanks for your feedback. We'll see if it is a permanent change or not. Once the new website design is completed things may change around again since the projects and "store" will be on different parts of the website.

Global Annoucements / 06.03 - Projects Page change

Discontinued/unavailable projects have been relocated to the forum rather than being posted on the Projects Page. The reason for this change is I still get multiple emails a day asking me when such and such PCB can be purchased even though I have tried to make it clear certain projects are no longer available. Hopefully, this will make things more clear. All the links and info attached to each of the recloated projects are still there--just in a different part of the MBP website:

I'm currently working on a BL3208 implementation of the Aquaboy to see how it compares to the v3205. I'll post something in the Project Development blog once I have some solid results to report.

I'm talking about the GAIN trimmer. The value should be 500R. If it says 104, then yes a 100k was used and it's not surprising that the bulb is not lighting up :)

Jeff,

What you need to check is Q13, Q14 to see if they are getting power. Could be an bum bulb, too. What type of lamp are you using? Any subs throughout the build?

Very sorry to hear that. I have seen that happen once or twice, but very very rarely. Does it appear to be closed from the top to bottom, or is it just filled in a little? You may be able to poke through it with a resistor lead. Drilling would be okay if you use a small enough bit and are very careful.

If something goes wrong let me know and I will send you a replacement.

GhostofJohnToad, you will need to provide a little more info. Can you give us a picture of how you have your jacks/3pdt wired? IOW a gut shot.

Reducing C14 and C22 will also work to brighten it up without having to mess with the pre/post filters. Try half of C22 first and work from there.

Good to see you were able to work this out. Please feel free to post your changes in the Mods section, too, as it may benefit others.

Thanks to shawnee and mgwhit for their helpfulness :)

Try reducing the value of C3 if you feel it is too dark. A socket might be good temporarily while you experiment. Start at 2n2 and work your way down until you find the right balance.
#5578
Lower the value of, or remove, C34. This will brighten up the repeats.

ChunkChunk, EgoDriver, GreenBean, Thunderpuss and Cupcake PCBs are now back in stock! http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/index.html

The Chunk Chunk and Cupcake are new layouts. The EgoDriver has been revised to fix the mistake from the last version (clipping LEDs did not connect to the right place). The GreenBean and Thunderpuss are unchanged.
