You should not be reading negative voltages. Something is obviously very wrong here. Not sure what, though.

Are your transistors socketed, by any chance? If using 2n3565, the flat side of the transistor should be the emitter. For example, from left to right, the flat side of Q1 should be on the left.

What is your reading on both sides of R9? One side should be about 9v, the other somewhat less.

That looks great! I like the artwork a lot.

Okay, I'll probably do this one. I think I can make it so that the biasing is easier and you can use any set of transistors.

I'll probably do something for this.

Yup. Could be toast. Most of the time, it's the diodes that smoke.

You may have incorrect values for R14 and R15. Check that junction to see if you are getting 4.5v. I think you probably are not.

If you can post some voltages, I'll get some off mine to compare.

If it's smoking and you aren't playing "Communication Breakdown" at that precise moment, then your polarity protection diode might be backwards.

No worries. I saw that schematic over there not too long ago.

We could use some posts in the "Member Projects" area, so it would great if you would post it there!!

Corgan actually never used the Creamy Dreamer. There's a really informative thread about it on DIYSB.

LOL, okay. Well, I do like fuzzes, and they are easy projects for me to do here. So, I'd say the MkI is a possibility.

I don't know anything about it. I think there were some gutshots out there on FSB, but I never took a hard look at it.

I think the main feature is the ability to blend between op-amp and hard clipping, correct? I would not be surprised if it's based on an OCD.

Yeah, I could use something like this. It would come in handy for certain sockets.

Actually, guitarpcb already has one, I think. Which isn't to say that I won't do one. Actually, I've never built the op-amp amp Muff before! I can take a look at it.
