Now this has me really excited.
I've been using a micro POG to get a subtle 12-string sound, but the octave up sounds god-awful past about 10 o'clock. It sounds like a cheesy kids' keyboard.
Does this guy track well enough to play chords and know any other solutions for getting a faux 12-string sound?

It's freakin magic through my AC15. I keep the tone pretty far down on the RR. The dynamics are really present.

Yes, this is the most dynamic tone knob I've ever come across. It has a massive rage and manages to be interesting in any position.

Well, it's not really the same thing at all, but I can say the RR sounds like magic through my Egnater Tweaker  set to the Vox tonestack ...

Truth is i LOVE this pedal, so I say build it anyway. The parts are pretty common, so go for it!

I had plenty of wire, but he sent some as a freebie with an order and now I'm good and hooked. I couldn't believe how much trouble and time it saved me.

Three tubes and about 1.5 to 2 watts of power. A friend of his was working on a PCB, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon, but he's posted the schematic. He says it's inspired my the Night Train.

Is it possible to get boards made of FC's amp design/s?

I've read through the thread and I know that at least at one point someone was doing them for others, but the last mention of that came last year, so I don't know if he'd still be doing it.
I was thinking it might be a good one to practice with for my first etching attempt.

I'm gassing for a Dr. Z Maz 18 in the worst way. Just the sound and touch I've always dreamed of, just need to buckle down and save some bucks. Oh, and hide my credit card.

one simple way might be to have a switchable input cap, kind of like the Rangemaster. The stock RM value of 0.005uF is really small though, you might want to try something a little larger. Then put the stock value on the switch.

You'll have to experiment to get it sounding how you'd like though.

That's a good idea. I was hoping to do it with  a resistor so I could use a pot, but it might be even better to put some different caps on a rotary switch.

I've got a Cupcake board ready to be built and I'm wondering if anyone has a good way to add a treble boost/cut for it. I currently use a Janglebox, which has a three-way tone switch and I'd love to have an OS clone with variable treble control.
