This is awesome!!!! I need to commission my nieces or nephew to draw me something. I love the idea!  How you digging the circuit?

Wow! Sick job! I used to love my ts808 into my OCD. Back when I had OD pedals built by someone else. Haha. I have been toying with this same idea! I've got both circuits lying around without a home.

Keep up the good work!

I'm digging it! I need to get into etching boxes! Or at least boards :/

Hmm. Idk if I would want my Orange Squeezer to be on all the time. I need to re-box it though. This makes me think I would put it in with a clean blend circuit and leave it on, though. There would def be space without the 3pdt switch. Oh yes! Game on!

I blame the wiring in my house, but it happened to me one time during a storm. I just started playing along with the Mexican radio station. This was with my fuzz factory clone.

Also, our old bassist's SVT4 or whatever it was would pick up the same station after you turned off the power switch for about 1.5 seconds.

I mean, the purpose of the Fuzz factory is to be annoying. So by picking up radio it's only doing its job. (Ha?)

Heck yeah! I gutted my orange squeezer to put mine in. Agreed it's def the best for stacking!

Hmm. I was wondering the same thing. I had built a rat on vero and didn't have the 2n5458, so I socketed it and used a 2n5457. Sounds good. I guess I'll swap it eventually, though.  I always forget something!

Sweet. Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to getting a chance to dig into this again.

Yeah, the IC question was stupid. I just put an IC in backwards one time on purpose to make sure that wasn't my problem on a perf build that was a bust.

I'm positive I oriented the jumpers under the MN3207 correctly, but I will check resistor values.

Are there certain positions I need to put the pots and trimmers in to get the necessary voltage readings?
Then, where do I put my DMM leads to get voltage? just negative to ground and positive to whatever pin I'm testing?

I'll also post a pic of my D4 junction, I'm not 100% sure I did that right either.

...to be continued

+1. I've been using the solid core. Entirely decent stuff, though I'm sure (as always) there is something much better out there.

Thanks Brian. It'll be alright, one way or the other. :-\

Clock? Uhhh you mean the trimmer or IC?

I'm pretty sure I didn't sub anything at all. Could IC orientation cause this? I wish I had it in front of me!

Okay so I've got everything together and followed the biasing directions and I'm getting nothing.  Only the Volume control is doing anything at all. I tried several combinations of even extreme trimmer settings and am getting nothing. This is the MN3207 version.

Quite disappointing, as me and my girl of nearly four years also split up yesterday. I need this to cheer me up!

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just when I thought I couldn't love the Timmy anymore than I already do! This has pushed me over the edge. Gotta build something with these pots/knobs.

Great work!

Sweet! I love this
Circuit. At least you didn't do what I did and in the hurry of ordering, only get 1 transistor. Had to get some on eBay to finish it up last minute for my buddy before our show. Haha

Nice! I love 1590a builds!

So the 820r just chokes the max volume so you can crank the circuit?
I just got some 1590a's from Tayda today an gotta figure out what's going in them. I like my sprout (unboxed) but maybe this would make me like it more. Or enough to finally box it
