Sounds to me like your describing a volume pedal? Or you could replace pedals volume with a switch wired with 2 potentiometers- 1 dialed back & 1 higher volume? Saw a diagram of this on diystompboxes years ago?

Thanks for those!!! Photobucket has consistently made bad decisions over the years & this one trumped them all!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they're gone soon, a lot of their competitors have consistently made their platforms easier to use & navigate, I totally understand the money thing but you don't have to take our images for ransom.

I would change input & output capacitors if its for a bass 2.2uF/ 4.7uF maybe even 10uF? Those 470pF capacitors on Q1-3 set clipping frequency, so I'd go 560pF or 680pF for more bass crunch. Also I would go higher on those 10k collector resistors 12k-15k-18k? for more saturation, on Q2&3 possibly Q1 also? have you tried led's in place of diodes? it gets thicker more saturated.

How's the copper content on those? hard to tell how thick/thin copper is from pic?

A very slippery slope here? Meds do help, but I have seen people taking aterol turn into straight speed freaks during their later teens. Coincidence? Good luck to you & your family whatever the outcome.

Wow, most companies give you a watch for 20+ years, you're bound to make some enemies with a gift like that? Lol

Nice! I always thought Dennis Coffey used a Maestro fuzztone? Vox tonebender was actually similar to fuzz face but with way less bass & also pre-dated fuzz face by a year or two FYI, I'd kill somebody for that white Les Paul lol

Marshalls aren't very flexible when not pushed a bit, I wish I never got rid of my '69, definitely an amp that sounds better driven hot. EL's or KT power tubes? Hope you get it!

Or you bought something spec'd closest to the oa126? manufacturers have been known to change stuff up all the sudden tho?

Actually pretty darn good for the price! I had the wildkat with flames &  kool dice knobs. Are they still making these or is it used?

Any good Hfe on those transistors? I had a good bit of leakiness on a lot of 50 last year. readings all over the place.Mine were pretty noisy?  a smallish capacitor across base & collector usually quiets those noisy ones somewhat? But in your case it really does sound like a dodgy ground connection.

Muddy waters used same ones, I set up my tele with same black knobs to pay homage. Those are actually fender amp knobs, they're a perfect fit for the pots. Cheers
