Looks awesome, Chris!  I think your's is the only one I've seen without Kevin's graphic, looks good.
Thanks John, you know me gotta be different lol

I forgot I took these pictures of the boards before I got too far into boxing it up. A better look at all the components and the boards stacked, really close together!

That, my friend, is a lot of chorus and no knobs. What does it do?

I forgot to mention the switches are presets with set depth and rate settings. The original had 4 buttons but this project using switches has more, letting you select multiple switches for in between settings. Once again DIY for the win.

Very nice!

Did you scope it with a bench unit or use a phone app to dial the chorus in?

The only reason I'm hesitant to give this project a try is for lack of an oscilloscope or knowing someone with one...
I don't own an O-scope yet, I want to get a lab nation but haven't yet. I used my dmm and set it by ear. I tried every voltage on pin 3 of each 3207 in .5v increments between 3.3v-3.8v. I wrote down my findings and went with 3.45v. sounds fantastic.

Wow that's really killer! I was just wondering earlier if the caps made it. I'd love to try this one some day
They came in a few days before the enclosure so right on time! This is such a great sounding pedal, even if a person wasn't into chorus, I think they would like this one.

Very nice, another one joins the lineup!
You should lay out all of your builds and take a group shot. You'll probably need a wide-angle lens!
I've almost ordered this board set a few times. One of these days I'll get around to it.

Thanks Drew, this summer I plan on building a storage/bookcase for them and I'll take a group shot then. It's a kickass build though and I recommend it highly. Looking forward to grabbing your new squeeze as well. When you email me if have have a bom of components for the reverb shoot me that too so I can order anything I don't have on hand.

Kevin said it best in the build doc-
The Blueshift Chorus is a faithful clone of the BOSS[emoji2400] DC-2 Dimension C—widely regarded as the best stompbox chorus ever made as well as being one of the most coveted Boss pedals out there. It's never had a proper DIY project due to the sheer complexity and number of components, but those days are over. The Blueshift is the first serious DIY adaptation of the DC-2—and if that wasn't enough, it's designed to fit in a 125B enclosure, no larger than the original.

The DC-2 is different from other choruses in that there are actually two clock+BBD pairs, each powered by either the inverted or non-inverted output of a single LFO. These BBDs then modulate the dry signal so that signal "A" reaches its maximum delay time when signal "B" reaches its minimum and vice versa as they criss-cross back and forth. The average remains constant between the two signals and only the space between the two signals is modulated. The DC-2's effect is often referred to as motionless because it doesn't have the signature "warble" or unsteadiness of a traditional chorus with a single BBD.

Thanks to Harryklippton for the save on the low profile caps that mouser was out of stock on, you saved this build! After the mishap with the enclosure being burnt to a crisp in the toaster oven (thanks to my youngest daughter) this build is finally done a week and a half later than expected!
The build was pretty straightforward thanks to Kevin's excellent build doc and fired up without any issues. I went with the stock wiring for simplicity. This thing sounds glorious. What a fantastic noise. If you like chorus this is the one. I've never played a DC-2 but now wish I had. The stereo spread is really awesome.
If you build it, take your time, double check components. Solder pads are smaller and thus harder to remove components. Luckily I didn't have any issues. I went with scarlet witch on the enclosure with a tayda powder coat that was as close to the original color as possible. No film decal as usual. Also i put some padding in the bottom of the case lid as others suggested to keep the boards sandwiched together tightly and prevent any grounding out on the case. Really pleased with how this turned out and if your on the fence about building this do it, it's totally worth it.

Did you add the fix at the end of the build doc for the modulation switch?  Can you post some pics?
I thought the fix just cut off the modulation sooner in the center (off) position. I'm waiting to hear from Brian before I start my build, and I'm finishing up a couple others too haha

I'm getting ready to build one so I'm really curious whats going on with your modulation section. Are all the values correct for the lfo section?

I believe the 571 will sub for this.

This is a new one to me, but I like what I see. It's pretty much a Phase 90 with a lot of improvements and more control.
You could even pimp it up further by adding fixed stages or a StompLFO chip.
Two more swept stages and you'd have a PS1-A on steroids.
I wish I had more knowledge/knew how to do layouts for boards. maybe this would be a good project for someone with the know how to do a board. I would buy one for sure.

I used to have a boss ph-1r a long time ago, and it was fantastic. How come no one has ever done a project for this, or perhaps the ph-2. What's up with that? What can we do about this? What say you phaser overlord?
