Awesome build Chris!  I'm almost sad to see it because its another project that I definitely have to build now  ::)
Thanks John, was wondering how you were doing. You finish the big muff you were building for the young whippersnapper?

Thanks, I love this thing so much I'm afraid I'm gonna turn into the edge and never turn the delay off. Welcome back as well.

Really glad to have gotten the chance to hear this! Awesome build of course, but you've honestly done us a service just by posting this clip.
Thanks man, here is another small clip with me using it with the touchstone chorus for a faux leslie tone to recreate the main lick to incubus' the warmth. Mike Einziger uses a boss RV-3 digital delay in the song and I think the dc echo does a pretty good job. The echos are softer and blur more than a digital but it's brighter than your average anolog. So in love with this thing.

Great build Jimi, such a fun pedal innit?

This is excellent all around Dan. The pedal  looks and sounds great, and the video shows what a great reverb it is. Tasty playing too! I primarily use it like the outboard tube reverb I used to have. I run mine into the front end of my tungsten buckwheat for surf, rockabilly and west coast blues type of tones.

You're a man of sharp contrast, TWS. A Boondock Saints poster, several rock 'n' roll axes... and unicorns and cute kitties :)

Very nice build. I'm going to have to buy a few more 3005, soon.
That may be one of the best compliments I have ever gotten lol I try to be open minded and well rounded!

Man that is one of the cleaner vfe builds I've seen Jimi. Always a treat to see what you have cooking. How does it compare to the small clone?

Awesome build, my man.  I so often build in black enclosures that I forget how nice white can look.

Of course, it would look a lot nicer next to, say, a giant stuffed unicorn that ties the room together.
Last month was 2 years since we lost Iris. She was my home girl. She loved when I played and even though she was my wife's cat, her heart belonged to me. I was also the only male she liked. She lived to be almost 19 before cancer got her. Broke my heart. She slept on the unicorn and I can never get rid of it. It ties the room together bro!

My music area is in disarray because of distance learning, my oldest is using my recording computer and desk as her classroom. Here is a quick and dirty sneak peak with the phone of this thing. Strat>dc echo>blackface fender.

You don't need to make excuses for your pink butterfly bag.

Nice clip man, shows the core tone off nicely.

That's not a pink butterfly bag, it's a pink butterfly bucket from easter like 2 years ago. Get it right man lol. I keeps a bunch of patch cords and stuff in there. You should see the big ass stuffed unicorn down in music room. Really ties the room together.

A secret lazy club... MY kind of club!
Yeah, more a collective, there's no meetings and you can get the refreshments out your own fridge.

But our delays sound awesome.

Build Reports / Lectric DC Echo
October 10, 2020, 01:41:03 PM
Ok, this thing is amazing. Like really amazing. Analog delay is my thing. I have owned or built the majority of available units since the original carbon copy was released. This one is the bee's knees, the best I have played yet. Everything that lectric says on their site about this is lies. Its better than that.
Build this thing. Its a great layout and the easiest calibration of an analog delay I have done. Such a great build doc. The build came together without a hitch and fired right up. Really bridges the gap between tape and bbd delay. Full control over the modulation and the long short switch is the best. So easy to dial in a slapback sound.
Maya lopez  aka Echo for the artwork. She's a deaf antihero who had a complicated situation with Daredevil and kingpin. She also is the original Ronin in the  New Avengers and Hawkeye took up the mantle temporarily for her while she was dealing with some personal business. Who better than Echo for an Echo?

I have never played a skreddy pedal but heard nothing but good things. The screwdriver is the one meant for single coils right? Im gonna have to check one out, these look amazing!

Your etches are fantastic and your builds are fantastic. Im not the biggest fan of the rainbow machine but the organ donor is pretty cool. Now if you made a micro pog/ polyphonic octaver I would be all over that like white on rice. Great builds Brian.

Your output and level of exellence is both truly inspiring and disgusting and defeating at the same time. I never thought of using a Flanger and vibrato together so now I think I'm gonna have to build my trivibe from Aion and stack it with my current lover. Graphics are very slick too!
