Nope, I can't get over the headstock design and don't really want a pre-amp in my guitar. For the money I'd buy a Suhr or Anderson.

I bought an original set, plastic is not for tools imo. I bought some polished deep well sockets instead.

So very very 80s, if you play rock and hair metal they are hard to beat for the thing they do.

Good consistent sounds. Lots of present but...

Only about two or three good sounds in them.

The tone controls don't have minute enough adjustment.

Gotta keep the batteries fresh (most rack units do, and so many are dead from leaky ones).

+1 for dremel+sandpaper wheel. Even commercial effects get this issue.

Remove the powdercoat from the screw holes in the bottom plates too so you get a good shield.

Not into Oblivion, played Skyrim a bunch, preferred older stuff like Daggerfall tbh.

For Fallout, Tale of Two Wastelands or nothing. But I have 5x the hours you do and NV bores me to death other than the DLC. Honest Hearts is my least favorite of them, and Dead Money is my favorite bit of Fallout out of all of it.
