oh lawdy those sisters.... rare a guitar company makes a signature model and usually for a giant of the industry like geezer butler's bass or lemmy(only man known) getting a ricken sig... that girl has a signature lapsteel. I want to say rockabilly at times for genre, they grew up learning classical, toured as bluegrass...Mississippi or Keep Digging for songs, you'll understand! Also look up this place https://www.cbgitty.com has instructions/parts to make a dobro/lapsteel from a board and aftermarket parts.

due to a wierd/tired arse ordering error, I got from cabintech 3 mn3007 and 2 mn3005's when I wanted to order 1 mn3k7 and 4mn3k5. now the 3k5 is gone from everybody remotely trustworthy except amplified parts and... it's only 3ish dollars more to get a v3205/3102 setup(4 chips) than what the man in AZ is asking for a single 3k5. can I swap on 1 of these boards ? how much alteration would it take like a regulator/zener swap?

I was wondering IF that really is the intended spot for the free mica cap, c24 is a 1uf alum electrolytic, the leads aren't even remotely close. I have a few days.. been slowly goign through my parts bin to see what I can skip ordering from Digkey or mouser.

Well, I'll have to get an audio probe IF my JMK test rig never shows up, afraid I don't have something to check the cap out right now though. Ty for the advice Chris.

I went back in with a new DMM, pin 3 is now at 4.55 where it should be but that resistor still reads 2.33 on the 3dpt side(visually)  :-\

I'll try adding a pinch of solder from the topside to see if anything changes because that not achieving unity at the trimmer maxed is still bugging the living fark out of me.

Matter of where the case was tried, East Texas is some hidebound folk, ironically, file the case in their hometown of Kalamazoo they could just as easily lose. among a few reasons besides being shyte at it why  Idon't sell what I build ::)

I ran mine, the 3207's, in my mini-me, both worked but the lettering  seems to have vahmoosed off the 1 chip but swear I saw it when I took it out of the static bag. I don't have e proper pork barrel or similar CE1/2 clone to test the 3102's but the printing is still sharp after rubbing my calloused thumbs over them.  Would be nice to have a breadboard test method since I currently lack a pork barrel or ppcb's cephied to stick them in.

I have sets of 2 each coming, I got a mini-me/small clone to run the 3207's on but figuring out wtf is going on with the 3102 is new animal. I wanted to put together a pork barrel/CE-2 clone. the gpcb board uses a combo of lm358 and cd4047 to for a clock instead.

This is such an awesome gesture!  I'm honored Chris and I can't thank you enough.  That Russian Muff is going to get all kinds of use 😁😍.
Sounds like an adult film opener...

As always Winter, the builds are tight and  thematic. I forsee much sonic mayhem ahead!

value seems it is in range, 1012 when the DMM is on the 2000k setting, color matches, was yellow deficient lighting in the picture. good solder tents on the led/pot side of the board. I placed the probes from both sides of the board, same readings so it is a solid connection.
if it really comes down to it, I might snip out that trim pot, side says 503, I got a couple 10k and 250k's laying around....

in relation to the IC above it, pin 1 side is 2.33 other side is 4.54. I'm using a 1 spot 9.4v 1700ma psu.

Now I'm trying to find where my volume dies off on this 1, I'll get it out of the box if can't find the problem on the front side.

Rough guessing that w/e is causing the low voltage at !C 1, pin 3 is the culprit. I admit I have no clue how to bleep bleep check a capacitor but the resisitors were in the 1% range, vishays or koa speers. pay no attention to the black on the trim pots, that was sharpie so my tired arse could tell where 50% was. the middle pin of the range pot IS filled in, that's just a shadow/dip in the solder pool.

I'll post a new thread for the Currentlover, this 1 is generally straightened out.

Preferring this 1 over my Current Lover because that 1 has a heavy need for a boost pedal after it with the vol trimmer maxed out.

I would revisit your current lover.  You shouldn't be experiencing volume drop with the volume trimmer maxed.  You should be experiencing a boost in volume.
I checked the voltages and values but that volume drop is why I even considered buying the Collo. I'll go back through but I don't have many expectations, if it's 1 of the chips I'm getting out the dremel because those are not socketed.
