I haven't been able to build in a while, so its nice to finally get one finished!
Kinda average considering all the awesome builds posted here nowadays, but it'd been sitting around in a incomplete state for some time. Nice to finally knock it off!

Ever wanted to set your phaser to 'Stun' instead of Kill?
Been meaning to box this up for quite some time!
Jim kindly sent me a sweet little board from a run a long long time ago...
Phase45 Beejive style... Vero board is for stun/kill settings: basically using a DPDT to flick between two preset trimmers ala the standard 'mix' mod.
And a demo for anyone who is interested, comparing the sounds

2nd attempt at this particular pedal... was a Mod-tone(sucking) Volume pedal. Now it's a fatpants 
Not an epic build report post, but it's a great idea if you use volume pedals...
True bypass = when off, no volume pedal/tone suck. Foot control is Level, Side Knob = 'Fat' control
'Body' switch this side, instead of Aux out

This has been ready a while but I needed to deliver it to my friend before the world saw it!
This little guy 'Lambo' is a Japanese cartoon character, his weapon of choice is the 'Ten year Bazooka'...
Not much to say really, other than its a versatile overdrive that sounds pretty good with anything I've thrown at it... it's built stock as in the project sheet. This baby gets a test rockin tonight at his band practice so hopefully he likes it

This is a 1 watt tube/ss hybrid practice amp design I have been working on for a while... finally reaching a state of completion!
12AU7A preamp, LM386 poweramp. Gain and Tone controls, Bright/Fat switch, 12VDC powered.
Cab is 9mm ply open back with 2x3" Philips old stock speakers... they have a great freq response for a guitar amplifier. It's neat fun to play... surprisingly loud too.
Scratched up a quick demo this avo before the camera went flat... 'scuse the noodly-mess playing and obnoxious guitar change halfway through
If anyone is interested I'll put together a project sheet with the schematic and pcb artwork at some stage.

First proto of my Tube/SS guitar amp... @ 1 Watt! Gain control and switchable clean/dirty modes. Speakers are 3" Philips old stock... The cab is only tacked to gether, needs work so don't laugh

This is my amp building debut... well the first one that made it alive off the breadboard anyway
Completed from scratch in 1.1 days with a full compliment of spare parts andobsessive behaviour patience from my family

Done on 2 guitars, straight into amp, touch of verb added but nothing else.
1st Strat on S/C neck pickup, and 2nd is a Custom on Bridge PAF
NO pickup changes or switching/changing volume/tone on guitars... ALL the tweaks are done with the pedal... start off with clean tone then into the pedal, playing the same kinda stuff so you can hear the differences.
Tranny = 2n3565 baby

Finally finished this! The friend I built a boomstick for liked it so much he wanted a second one, but this time with mods...
So this pedal has a switchable output buffer (kl0n) and an added bass control... pretty fiddly wiring this one up
Mods are very time consuming... jacks up top are a tight fit
Sounds good, hope he likes it

What a neat sounding overdrive! Really like the sound of this one, it just makes great tone... easy!
My darling hand painted this one too... lots of layers... it's meant to be reminiscent of a well-weathered 'touring' tweed amp.
Had a hard time wiring this... a bit more fiddly than usual making space for the battery, so its a little messy in there but not too bad. Contains: 1N914s, BAT 41s, 2N3565, gain boost and diode select switching.
