Wowzers. Clean build/guts and I like the E-tex, but your wife definitely knocked it out of the park.

I have previously associated acrylics with kiddie art or worse - my own art. That's pretty impressive, sir.

I'm just a couple hours or so south of Mr. Bean and we had the same. I can't imagine having to allot time each day to dig my car our of a snow bank to go to work.

My bad experience from the Walmart version of that almost kept me from getting the other kind (kinda like the pic at the top of this page). If you try to the other design, it will change your life.

I thought the same thing.

I use Irwin auto strippers I got at Lowe's. If I were somehow forced to stop using that tool (or something similar), I would honestly consider giving up the hobby. To me, the only thing(s) more essential would be an iron and my eyes (and the latter ain't getting any better  :-[ ).

Dunwich stuff keeps me busy on Instagram. I follow a lot of pedal/gear accounts, but I dig their progress pics, gut shots and when they do a video - I will DEFINITELY watch it or at least remember to go back if I see a post whilst trapped in a quiet place that would equal me getting stares or a write-up should my phone start blaring sludge riffs, lol.

Nice work, sir!  8) 8) 8)

Ah - I'm glad I got to catch the explanation.

When I visited some friends in LA a few years back, they had quickly grown used to seeing celebrities of all sorts out n about. We went out to the strip one night and for each celeb I passed by, I felt a superhuman amount of will power had been hiding in me for my whole life. So many suppressed shrieks - I felt like at any moment, a hormone-crazed boy band fan was going to burst out of my 6'4" frame.

The added "pop" you mentioned more than makes up for the slight change in shade/color, IMO. Mixing the dye in w/the E-tex ---- now that's CHEATING!  ;D 8)

They both look great & I hope somebody will throw that on top of an etched box for us all to oogle at.

Wow - that's a lot going on in there! Now, more than ever, am I feeling a little guilty for changing parts value(s) or adding a tone switch and thinking I'm doing "mods"  :-[ ;D You went for the schmorgasboard! And it sounds great to me!

Man, what a great (and interesting) build.

Although I maintain we are a bunch of weirdos for loving the gutshots, I typically find with most folks' builds, I can choose which I like better - the inside or outside - I can't decide here!!! Nice work, sir!!

Nice work! I dig the graphic and the inside doesn't look as bad as you describe.

We're such an odd lot (builders) when it comes to insisting on gut shots. I mean, I get the curiosity (I certainly am nosy enough to want a peek inside), but with very few exceptions do I see guts that don't fall in the category of "seen better/seen worse". It is neat to see what is going on in there and how different folks approach similar projects.
