No boards, just layouts on their fake 3005 page

I have trouble getting components out of double sided boards with any solder type lol. RE the pot legs I'd just cut t hem at the angle leaving enough to grab the pin with hemostats (my tool of choice for these tasks) and enough terminal on the pot for later recycling. I never try to remove solder until after the component leg is out. Actually I add solder when pulling components to ensure the whole joint gets gooey, then remove the lead, then clean up the hole.

I find it easier to cut off the pins before removing pots. rather lose a couple bucks in parts than the whole board. plus the pots can be used again lug style.

General Questions / double delay layouts
January 31, 2012, 12:31:16 AM
well I'm sick of getting hosed on 3005 chips so its time for the 4x3008 hack on my dirtbag. Trouble is smallbear has a double sided layout. Anyone know of a single sided layout or even better a vero? Figured I'd ask before trying my own. Thanks!

Mouser is where I get mine. There is a size field in their parts finder. Here are the 10uf and 100uf I use to keep my road rage boards tiny, should be a good starting point.

There's a layout on the sabrotone site. Harald has some cool projects over there.

Yea I am planning a comp using Barrys morc with added clean blend for a tone press workalike. Maybe squeeze in one of the coldcraft minibax boards I have kicking around as well. I gotta figure out how to use up all of these PCB's haha.

Wow we do all buy our bulk cable the same way. Oc speaker for angle jacks and ebay for lava mini. For long leads I also use redco but i really like the gepco xband stuff for the way it lays and coils.
