Does anyone know of a project (or can someone make one) similar to the Suhr Koko Boost? It has 2 channels; a Clean boost on one side and a Mid boost on the other. Sounds interesting, j/w if anyone knew of how to replicate this?

The mid boost is the part I'm more interested in.

Part of your problem is that the LM386 is not a dual op amp. Its a power amplifier. Totally different kind of chip.

I don't think there is a direct alternative sub for LM386 (or JRC386). But the good thing is that if you are in the US, you can get one at Radio Shack.

Eh, there's one about 45 mins away. Lol guess that's as good as it gets though.

Is there a substitute for LM386 at all? I've been looking up different drive circuits and a few that I like require LM386's and I don't have any lol

Would any of these that I DO have on hand work? I have 4559, 4558, TL072, TL071, LF351N, CA3130EZ (and PT2399, but I know that won't work haha).
