General Questions / Re: Double Flush Rate LED
September 19, 2018, 11:48:29 AM
Also, my depth pot isn't doing anything, the effect stays at max depth. I am now wondering if LDR/LED combo isn't getting bright enough, so maybe tweaking that whole voltage divider is in order for my specific combo? I'm using a yellow clear in the LED/LDR combo and a blue clear for the rate indicator.

General Questions / Double Flush Rate LED
September 19, 2018, 11:30:10 AM
Hi all, anyone find the value on the LED resistor going to the rate LED leaves the blinking indicator WAY too bright? I presumed I could just increase the value of r11 (this is on the single side etch layout), but I'm thinking that might interact with the values going to the LED/LDR combo and perhaps change the sound. I don't want to do that. Any thoughts?

Ignore the first two questions, got those figured out ha ha. But I have another question, is the CLR part of the schematic or do I have to wire that up before boxing?
Thanks

edit: And does anybody by chance have the Zombii drill template?
Thanks again
it's the current limiting resistor for the LED. You need one or you will fry the LED with 9V. It goes between the power supply and the positive LED leg.

Anyone use any of the pt2399's from Tayda?  At 51 cents it seems to good to be true....

Josh

All reports so far are that their PT2399 chips are a tad iffy. It seems their specs run wider than most, causing a lot of builds to act funny. YMMV
