Man thats bad but I will just echo the "are you sure everything is lost"?  I don't know you level of IT literacy but there is normally something that can be done and I am guessing there will be more than a few Techies on this board (myslef being 1 ) that might be able to help.

Requests / Re: Boss DC-2 Dimension C Clones!!!

I picked  up a DC-2 a month ago for £40 / $60.  It has been through the wars though but it still sounds fantastic much better than any other chorus I have (Fulltone Choralflange, Small Clone, DC-3, Pork Barrell (ce-2).
So i agree a quality madbean board of this effect would be fantastic but I believe there are a LOT of parts so it could end up quite a costly build.

Sad not to see the baby boards or the weener wah (waiting on that one).  There is nothing there that excites me so maybe I might just have to buy a Dirtbag to keep me busy. ;)

I tied my Pork Barrelflashing  led back to the switch where you normally would put the led indicator.  I got this from teh pork barrell docs.

If i google that "desoldering pump"  they both show the same device
a spring loaded tool like a tube that you place to the melted solder a click the button to vacuum up the molten solder.
thats what I already have.
Is this sufficient, or something else?
I would normally give it one blast with the desoldering pump like the one you have and then get hold of the cap and heat both pads alternativley and give the cap a little wiggle to get it out.  If solder is left in the holes then heat a little and push a cocktail stick in.

Boxed up and working @ 15v  -  sounds lush

Totally underestimated how much the pink would show through.  Might go over with a white label at some point.  White / cream powder from now on.  The light plate is the LFO indicator so pulses nicely in use.

It will work, i have to admit to doing exactly the same thing when i built a one chip chorus.
Check the pin outs to be safe though

Can't think of a name for this thing....Any ideas ? ! Gfx are attached and it has a light plate on the bottom that flashes with the depth.  The pink is the colour of the enclosure
