Thanks, I appreciate the time taken to write up the details of the mod. Looking forward to trying to replicate it. Just waiting for ICs and pots to arrive. I'll post up a build report when it's done.

Hey, that's a great demo and the 2nd LFO sounds like a great idea. Any chance you'd care to share how to wire up the 2nd LFO?

Glad you like the boost, it's not something I'd choose to add an expression pedal to but should be straightforward to do.  Just send the pcb connections to a switched TRS jack socket and the return lugs to the pot.  You'll have to use a stereo jack to the expression pedal and hack it with an appropriate value pot.

Just started building one this weekend but have off board wiring still to do. If I get it working I can post some voltages.
Is there a solder bridge 4th strip from the bottom on the right, could just be the flux, can't tell from pic.

Looks awesome Jason.  I've got mine populated, just need to find the time to build it.
Where did you get those tube protectors.  I've seen some on eBay but they come from China and I have doubts about the quality and finish of those...

This might sound stupid, a, but it feels good to see someone else here doing sandwiched boards. (I was building up a second filter bank earlier today -- out of capacitors, again...)

For the amount of stuff in each box, it really looks quite tidy! Are you going to label the controls?

Very slick.  How did you get the purple with the pale lilac bits, or is it just the camera giving that effect?
Btw, what's the Rio, I'm guessing it's a riot by the LED combo and the 4580's?
