Tech Help - Projects Page / Cupcake debugging (no sound)
February 24, 2012, 06:47:32 PM
Hey folks, I recently built the Cupcake compressor, I wired everything up off board because I'm impatient and it worked fine, then today upon getting a couple enclosures I boxed it up and it worked but it was a rats nest of wiring and upon tweaking the trimpot I subsequently wasn't getting any sound when bypassed or with the effect. I completely rewired it using a 3dpt board, much cleaner and tidier but now I'm still getting no sound when bypassed or with the effect on. The led on the board would no longer light up either after the switch, but the onboard 3dpt LED does. I'm hoping it's something simple, I've traced everything and it seems okay. I've uploaded pics here http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattgnarly/sets/72157629083298746/

Tech Help - Projects Page / Cupcake Grounding Issue
February 11, 2012, 10:29:55 PM
Hey folks, I finished (I thought) populating and wiring up the Cupcake compressor and figured I'd try it out and am getting a super loud humming, sounds like it isn't grounded. It is not boxed up, which is what I'm assuming is the problem (still waiting on enclosures), so is there a way I should be grounding it for now?

Tech Help - Projects Page / Zombii wiring help
January 20, 2012, 03:14:47 PM
Hey guys, so after buying a ton of parts and too many pcbs I'm finally getting around to putting together my first PCB, the Zombii. Everything went fine assembling the PCB but I'm a little confused as to the wiring. I'm using a 3pdt switch (for true bypass) and a 9v adapter (no battery). The wiring guides are down so I'm not too sure how to go about it.
Cheers

Requests / Hybrid delay/reverb? (EQD DM)
January 11, 2012, 10:31:53 AM
I've seen a lot of reverb requests, and share the sentiment, but I also think something like the EQD Dispatch Master would be pretty rad. I think it's basically a belton brick reverb/pt 2399 delay. Sounds great in the demo vids I've heard.

Requests / Walrus Voyager?
December 06, 2011, 02:28:36 PM
I'd be curious to see if anyone has any experience with the Walrus Audio Voyager or Iron Horse. I've only seen demos on youtube and no gutshots. From what I've heard the Ironhorse is Rat-based and the Voyager is Klon-based but not confirmed, so it'd be nice to build something similar instead of ordering and possibly not vibing with the Walrus pedals.
Cheers guys and gals

How Do I? Beginner's Paradise. / Potentiometer Question
December 01, 2011, 12:09:24 AM
I've noticed that on a lot of vero schematics and the Madbean PDFs I've read, that often times the type of pot isn't specified. In general, is audio or linear taper the standard?
Thanks

General Questions / Road Rage question
November 06, 2011, 05:03:58 PM
I've read the pdf a couple times now and I'm still not entirely clear on this, can the Road Rage be used to power multiple effects?
