Whatever it is you're trying to win, I concede.  That is fantastic.

That is one of the nicest boards I've seen.  Just beautiful

It sort of depends, really.

I have a set of vintage CTS speakers that I am going to recone.  They came out of my blackface Super Reverb.  Because of their value, they are worth reconing.  I am not sure that's true for some lower cost modern speakers.

I know you are in the Chicago area.  I've got a recommendation from somebody I trust if you are trying to figure out where to send it.

While I am not a huge fan of the circuit, I can see why folks would like the LEDs there.  That's why I put the clipper switch in my recent build.

This is another nice look build, Billy.  Great job.

This is a cool one too, Billy.

I like the 2-tone blue etching.  I've had it happen unintentionally when the base color simply wouldn't etch away from the enclosure.  I've never tried doing it intentionally.

True!  Melf pads should have a little notch halfway across them to help keep them in place, at least in production with solder paste and all, but I haven't seen this used in DIY builder libraries yet.  Also haven't looked very hard though!

The parts I like least are probably the metal can electrolytics with plastic bases and just a nubbin of lead sticking out and pads completely under the part.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of metal can electrolytics in general on SMT builds.  Unless it's not practical, I always use Tantalum or Ceramic in their place.

Put a 2k resistor across lugs 1 &3.  The taper will change a little, but it will work.

I suggest using a C1K if you have one.  I think it works better there.

Very nice.

Those little diodes are fun, aren't they?

Sweeet.  Nice job with the graphics.  The pot labeling is interesting, too.
