As a DIY'er? Getting ANY kind of synth built, let alone what I've managed. I thought I wouldn't get even the likes of a MFOS Weird Noise thingy going!

Never built a PRETTY pedal (that didn't involve buying an already pretty enclosure.) So never done any good artwork on my own.

What are some fav settings, this thing does so much!

My normal setting is Dual LFO mode, Slow and Square off , and both Rates just a liiiitle bit out of synch, so they drift in and out of step with each other. Colour backed off just a bit, to remove the quackiness.

Really, really nice build :)

Penn & Teller made the point on Bullshit that for space exploration to be economical, private enterprise is going to have to be involved at some point (government agencies of any sort are not known for efficiency.)

They also made the point that NASA needs to be kept involved at the research level, because private enterprise isn't on the same planet as NASA when it comes to that.

This is working off memory.

... because laughter is good for you.

Four travellers are taking a train trip through Europe in the same car. A beautiful young blonde woman, an old Swiss lady, an Australian guy, and a Kiwi man.

The train passes through a dark tunnel, and a loud *SLAP* is heard. When the train emerges into sunlight, the Aussie is on the floor with a big red mark on his face. The thoughts of the people?

Old Swiss Lady: I bet he tried to grope the young lady and got slapped for it.

Blonde: I bet he tried to grope me, got the old lady by accident, and got slapped for it.

Aussie: I bet that Kiwi groped the blonde, and I got blamed.

Kiwi: I hope we get another tunnel, so I can slap the shit out of that damn Aussie again!

(From the newsletter at work, haha...)

I wish soundcloud worked properly on Opera 12. (The new version of Opera, among other lovely nonfeatures, thinks that no one uses bookmarks, and if you're one of those weirdo's who do, then go download a plug in for it.)

It's acting with C5 as a highpass filter, where R6 is the part you can alter to change the filter's frequency.

There's probably some signal loss, but you'll get that with just about all passive filters.

Opul. Off the new ep "Levels."

Reminiscent of Hum, Failure, Quicksand. For fans of spacey, prog, alternative.

Quite enjoyed that, although I wouldn't call it spacey... maybe that's too much electro-music.com radio speaking, haha!

Aren't you worried about a grue? (never had a Nintendo, known anyone with one, or played any Zelda game...)

Tidy as always :) and I always smile when I see your super-chunky shielded cable :D

That sounds like an adventure and a half! I know the pots moved between 1.4 and the first version, should have made it a bit more obvious :/ it did make the PCB a lot easier to lay out, though.

Virtual beer for doing all the troubleshooting yourself! (Real beer if you ever turn up on my doorstep :) )

So, is the pedal worth all that grief?

Full of angry robot dubstep sounds!

Celldweller has a video on Youtube somewhere showing his new studio.

His Eurorack modular has to be seen to be believed!

I have been cyber stalking this guy all week. Great stuff.

Wow, that guy really is talented. So many things to do at once takes massive concentration

Amazing looper use in that performance. I liked the drum pedal beating on the cardboard box :)

cool build The Dude!  8)

Fixed that for you :)

(I honestly don't watch enough TV -- I recognise that there is supposed to be some famous "The Dude" that Keefe is named after,  but not the series. Walter White, OTOH...)

They work with the Madbean PCB part for whatever the heck model neutrik jack that is. Used them in my GatSynFace board. YMMV.

I know absolutely NOTHING about this subculture, other than the negative stereotypes, so perhaps I should check this out. I did enjoy playing GTA: San Andreas.

Oh, I did hear Nas on Santana's Guitar Heaven album. Didn't sound like singing or rapping to me, just someone a few sheets to the wind reciting lyrics in normal speech. Thought the name sounded Middle-Eastern at the time.
