Have you noticed that his guitar is tuned with all the tuners in a vertical position. It helps rotating them quickly and exactly back at the same position.

I have purchased a Roland Quad Capture for 200$ and this is an outstanding AD capture box. There's a switch specific for high impedance inputs (like guitars), an auto sense that adjusts automatically the input level without turning a knob, high quality drivers with very low latency (I'm at 10ms actually), midi in/out, XLR, phantom power etc... I highly recommend it  ;)

Open Discussion / Pickup simulator
September 11, 2012, 06:33:06 AM
Hi guys!
I've got something to ask to the stompbox gurus around here.
I found some effects to be weak using single coils pickups and some other sound less "vintage" using humbuckers so here is what I'd like to do:
I'd like to breadboard 2 circuits, one to heat single coils tones and the other to tame the humbuckers a little bit, using a 3 band EQ and a transformer to get the pickup simulation.
Do you think there's a way to make this alive? I don't want to buy lots of transformers and send them to the garbage, and I'm new to using these in stompboxes circuits.
Any information is welcome. Thanks!

Good work sir! It's a beautifull tele, these are my favorite guitars. Haven't heard these PUs before. For that price this a fantastic result  ;)

Thanks for the link Magic! There are hours of listening for the stompboxes building sessions. They have some Os Mutantes albums too  ;D
