Holy CRAP! Good on you Alan!!! Amazing work! I'm absolutely floored by this one.

I don't need to, but I basically completely echo LaceS's statement... I just am baffled that the entire line of Lovetone has been made DIY-able. So amazing.

So now... when will this one get offered as a PCB for sale by one of you guys? ;-)

Hey guys,

Another weird question...

I was just about to finish populating the board with the LDRs and green LEDs, when I noticed something weird about the pads for the LEDs. The pads/silkscreening contradict one another if I'm looking at it correctly... it has the square/positive pad on the "flat" side of the LED silkscreening... can someone double-check with a working completed build double-check that I'm doing this correctly? Do I follow the pads or the silkscreening? Does the negative or positive leg go in each of the square holes? (I would think positive, but again... silkscreening shows the flat side as the positive side, which I thought always was the negative side of the LED.)

*confused in California*

(PS - I posted to the other Doppelganger build report thread, sorry for the spam)

Excellent, thank you Alan.

So... I just found out that Futurlec will not ship my LDRs for another twenty years, and refuse to respond to any of the five emails I have sent for order status...

So...

Can any of y'all weigh in on whether you think 27k/2Meg will fit the bill?

Or, if not those, alternately these, spec'd at "20k-30k/2Meg":

If anyone's thinking they might not finish theirs... I'd definitely pay double to take it off your handses... =)

Anyone else interested in another run?
