General Questions / Signal splitter or not..

..i need to split the audio signal coming from Soulfood to redirect to a delay pedal..should i need a buffer/splitter to do that or is it ok if i just put a Y adapter from the Soulfood output jack and tap from it?..knowing a klon clone has a good input buffer, will just tapping from the output without a buffer/splitter a good idea?..or maybe it 's a good idea to tap signal from the soulfood input buffer?...tnx in advance, guys.

Tech Help - Projects Page / vintage MXR flanger dead SAD1024 ?

...I bought a non working MXR 117 Flanger from ebay about a year ago...i cant get it to work...so i suspected the SAD1024 ic is non functional...the built in transformer was busted so i removed it...i replaced the the regulator LM34OT-15, C24 ( 400uf ) and connect
18v dc across C24...output voltage of the regulator is 15vdc..
..audio signal passes thru both bypass and on mode...when engaged there is audio signal from input but no flanging effect or whoosing sound...i have no way of testing the SAD1024 if it is working....so here are the voltage readings on the semiconductors...

..hi guys...i recently bought a vintage Pearl chorus ensemble CE-22...since not a lot of info can be found on the interent 'bout "her"...the minute a laid my hands on it...i already disassembled it!...(having thoughts of cloning this baby..hohoho...)...but to my suprise...it's got the MN3009 bbd...can it be replaced by other bbds?..just askin'..or should i hit ebay...tnx in advance!

hi fellow madbeaners...not many of you see me in the forum that often...but i made a few buddies here at least...
im from the philippines...and i guess youve seen images in the CNN and internet how Typhon Yolanda has devastated my country..
thank you people of the world for contributing and helping us survive the wrath of natural calamity...over $2M has been donated...and ships and airplanes and helicopters..are coming forth to our direction bringing Hope and relief to my countrymen. thank you world, thank you humanity.
The U.S. are among the first to do its humanitarium mission, Australia, Japan, Israel, U.A.E...almost every rich country has come to the rescue, except for China, our neighboring country...(ooopss...)
im posting this not to request for a cash donation...( or a pedal?.) but may i humbly request..as a pedal builder, to my fellow pedal builders that maybe we could at least build a single pedal that will not contribute to the "human footprint".
maybe a pedal without a battery option
use recycled plastic enclosure like modem enclosure, toys, etc
its up for you guys...the possibilities are endless for us pedal geeks!
im not asking this for my country alone...but for humanity in general..for our children's future...

..I want to build the Aquaboy 2012 with double delay but im stucked wih 3 diff BBD types namely MN3205, MN3008, BL3208B on hand. Is it feasible to put a dauhterboard with the combination of MN3008 & BL3208B on top of another dauhterboard with MN3205 ?...i understand they have diff pin assignments and voltage requirements..i guess the clock MN3102 is compatible with the 3BBDs...tnx guys in advance...

i'm trying to design an electronic sw using the CD4066....integrating a 2P2T sw for true bypass capability...i have not tried it on breadboard...anyone willing to verify it?....

It's a standard practice to route the input of the effects when in bypass mode. Output is also routed to ground...but i'm not sure if it is necessary...or will it lessen the "pops" if there are any..

...hey guys...got a busted Guyatone flanger ps-004 way years ago...i think the bbd MN3006 is fried due to accidental use of higher voltage..18v...can i just replace the MN3006 with MN3007 ...i understand it has the same pin assignments but of different signal time delays, ...then recalibrate the trimmer bias...would it come alive?....tnx guys in advance...
